Tracer's New Victory Pose Has Arrived, Still Contains Butt, Internet Outrage Hopefully Over
- By Ash

Last week we had an exquisite example of how even a simple thing can get out of hand remarkably quickly just by saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, as Jeff Kaplan has learned during the Tracer uhh... butt-scandal, where a lonesome fan petitioned Blizzard to change a certain victory pose as it clashed with Tracer's personality.
After a lot of community yelling, grumbling, and mumbling the Overwatch team clarified that they were aiming to replace the taunt with something better anyway, and that the petition simply served as a good time to announce the change. The pose ended up being scrapped quickly after, but a mere week later, and its back with its brand new iteration, now with even more butt action. Here's the image, courtesy of Overpwn:
Fallout 4's Settlement Focused DLC 'Wasteland Workshop' Is Coming On April 12

The trailers and initial previews for Fallout 4's first DLC, Automatron, were fairly lackluster, but it still ended up being a rather solid and robust piece of DLC, so I do hope the same applies to the Wasteland Workshop as there doesn't seem to be much to it.
The Wasteland Workshop brings with it nixie tube lighting, devious traps you can place in your settlements, taxidermy so you can stick the head of your favorite Deathclaw up on the wall, and cages that allow you to capture live creatures, including the aforementioned Deathclaw. Here's the trailer that lists out all of the features:

After being in development for quite a few months now, the ability to stream games from the PS4 to PC and Mac will become available later today.
This is only one part of the massive 3.50 PS4 System Update, and if you're interested in all of the upcoming features I'll embed the video trailer below as I'll mostly focus on the PC/Mac aspects of the update.

I am a big fan of Edmund McMillen and his messed up roguelike, so much so that Rebirth was the very first review I've ever done, so when the opportunity comes to actually participate in an item's design process, you bet I'm excited for it!
As announced in a recent blog post, the upcoming Afterbirth+ expansion will come with at least 10 community designed items, with an emphasis on "really out of the box shit" with unique and fun mechanics. Here's how it works:
EVE: Valkyrie Has Been Confirmed For The HTC Vive, Releases In 2016

EVE Valkyrie is CCP's virtual space dogfighting game set within the fascinating EVE Online universe, with the focus mostly being on blowing stuff up rather than building up an empire.
It came out as a launch title for the Oculus Rift, and was for the longest time rumored to be a Rift exclusive, but thankfully those rumors have since then been dispelled as it was first announced for the PlayStation VR, and now for the Vive as well. Here's the trailer, and the brief announcement tweet, because what better way to release important news than by restricting yourself to 160 characters:
Dota 2 Will Soon Support Virtual Reality Spectating, And Its About As Fascinating As It Sounds

I'm not sure if this speaks about my shortsightedness, but when I first heard the announcement that Valve is enabling "Desktop Game Theater" support, ie. the option to play games on a giant screen within your VR headset, I certainly didn't account for something as intriguing as this.
As a part of HTC Vive's launch Valve have released a video showcasing the benefits of SteamVR, and along with it a brief teaser of a Dota 2 fan spectating a game alongside all of the heroes from the match itself! You can find the full video here, but if you're just interested in the Dota 2 portion of it, here's it is:
The Original Legend Of Zelda Has Been Remade In To A 3D Version With Voxels
- By Ash
- in News
A couple of Zelda fans have decided to undertake a rather intriguing experiment in order to commemorate the 30th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, and that is to recreate the entire game in 3D through the use of voxels.
Its currently not a full remake, however, as only a couple of levels are available, but if you're up for experiencing an old classic in a new light, head over to the Zelda Tribute website.
