Did you ever wish you could play as one of the numerous Killing Floor zombies and deliver righteous vengeance against that one teammate that somehow always seems to die, and then beg for money? Well now you can!
Killing Floor 2's Revenge of the Zeds Update has arrived, and it brought with it playable zombies, new weapons, a new prison map, a crafting system, and achievements (including one where you have to pick up the soap, details behind which I don't think I want to know).
Total War: Warhammer's Gameplay Video Showcases The Forces Of Chaos In Action

- in News
Creative Assembly has revealed the first bits of Total War: Warhammer footage that involve the forces of Chaos doing what they do best, but what should be an exciting occasion is currently being met with a fair share of anger given that the most iconic Warhammer faction is being used to sell pre-orders.
The good news is that everyone will be able to fight against Chaos, DLC or not, with the Vampire Counts having one of their major campaign objectives revolve around pushing the Chaos forces further in to the North. Controversial DLC aside, here's something that everyone can agree looks pretty good, the battle between the Empire and Chaos:
Dark Souls 3 - PC Port Analysis & First Impressions (Mini-Review)

- in Reviews
My initial plan was to first finish Dark Souls 3 and then do a proper review, but after spending around 6 hours getting stabbed, chomped on, and thrown off every scenic vista Lothric can provide I've come to realize that I really need to a share a bit of my enthusiasm, or I might just burst.
So here are my current thoughts on Dark Souls 3, from the perspective of someone that has spent far, far too much time playing the Souls series, as well as an analysis of the PC version and its technical qualities. For those of you that are purely interested in the analysis, you can skip to that point by pressing here.
Cyberpunk FPS/RPG Consortium: The Tower Is Going Through A Rather Successful Fig Campaign
- By Ash
- in News
Its not an easy task to get your crowdfunding campaign to attract the necessary amount of people these days, as the Consortium: The Tower developers know full well given that their Kickstarter in January failed before even reaching the halfway point.
Rather than simply give up after a rather crushing defeat, the developers opted to go with a "drastic" plan B, which turned out to be a recently launched Fig campaign that is currently well on its way towards reaching the $300,000 goal through a combination of investments, and pledges. Here's a brief video explaining what exactly Consortium: The Tower is all about:
The Eldar Are Coming To Battlefleet Gothic: Armada Next Week, And They're Not A Fan Of Orks
- By Ash
- in News
The previous Battlefleet Gothic: Armada trailer featured a whole legion of Orks 'singing' so poorly it could make one wish for the Inquisition to take them away, rather than to endure that torment for much longer.
Thankfully, the Eldar have arrived with their own trailer that puts a swift end to the Ork's verbal rampage, though the end result is that we now have to endure the Eldar's insufferable smugness, but such is the fate of the Warhammer 40k universe. Here's the trailer:
3D Voxel-Based 'The Legend of Zelda' Remake Has Been Shut Down Nintendo
- By Ash
- in News
You have to hand it to Nintendo's lawyers, they react with frankly inhuman speed when it comes to copyright infringements. It took Blizzard years to shut down the biggest private Vanilla WoW server, and here we have Nintendo bringing down the axe within mere days.
As noted on the Zelda Tribute website, the voxel-based 3D remake of 'The Legend of Zelda' has been taken down due to a cease & desist letter from Nintendo, though the developers haven't given up on their labor of love as they now aim to replace all of the sprites with their own originals:
Doom Open Beta And DLC Plans Have Been Announced

[Update] The open beta ends on April 17, not 18.
Those that pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order have been blowing each other to bits in the closed Doom beta for about a week now, and soon enough we'll all have a chance to throw our own hats in to the ring as the open beta has been scheduled to start on April 15, and last till April 17.
The beta will not require any type of code to play, you will simply be able to log in with the platform of your choice and start blasting away in either Team Deathmatch, or Warpath modes on the two currently available maps: Heatwave and Infernal. Along with this announcement came news of the upcoming Doom DLCs packs, and unfortunately, this is where the good news stops.
