After the wild success of the Perandus League Grinding Gear Games are back once again with another massive Path of Exile update. Instead of labyrinths and deadly traps the theme this time around is prophecy, and oddly enough, client optimization.
All of this comes in the form of Patch 2.3.0, which brings with it two new Challenge Leagues, the new prophecy system, a whole assortment of new spells and cosmetics, as well as a challenging end-game map designed with veterans in mind. Along with this you can expect to see numerous balance changes, new challenges to tackle, and various minor additions.
If you're interested in a quick overview of what the Prophecy update has to offer here's the launch trailer that briefly goes over all of the features:
Ubisoft is rumored to be working on film adaptation of The Division

Its been less than a month since the first trailer for the Assassin's Creed movie appeared, and already there are rumors of Ubisoft expanding their movie empire onto other franchises as well.
As revealed by Variety, Ubisoft is reportedly working on a movie adaptation of The Division with Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler, South Paw, Donnie Darko) as the lead actor. None of this is officially confirmed, and even if it was I wouldn't expect to see the movie in the near future as there isn't even a writer on board as of yet, but its certainly an intriguing rumor.

Hard Reset Redux, as you might imagine from the name, is an updated version of Hard Reset that brings with it a cyber-katana, better mobility, enhanced visuals, new enemy types, as well as improved performance. The most important change for the veterans, however, is the rebalanced gameplay and the reshuffling of enemies in order to make for a fresh experience.
If you're wondering what all of that looks like in action the developers recently posted a gameplay video showcasing "10 minutes of glorious 60FPS mayhem". Have a look:
Natural Selection 2 has received a new community map, an unlockable alien skin, and numerous balance changes

Natural Selection 2 is a bit of a strange game, a combination of RTS base-building with Alien Vs Predator style of gameplay, but the end result is a thoroughly enjoyable experience... if you can get a commander that knows what he's doing anyway.
After going through a rather rough period earlier this year it seems that Natural Selection 2 has managed to fully recover given that the recently released Update 301 offers a bit of everything one could've hoped for - a new community map to explore, an unlockable skin to pretty up your aliens, and most importantly, an extensive list of balance changes and additions.
This War of Mine has recieved its first expansion - The Little Ones
- By Ash
- in News
This War of Mine is one of the rare few games that successfully shows the ugly side of war. You don't play as an elite military group that can take bullets to the chin only to regenerate moments later, no, you play as a group of deeply troubled civilians trying to survive in a besieged city with nearly no food, medicine, or sanity to go about.
If you thought that was depressing just wait till you hear what the newly released DLC is all about, though I'd imagine you can guess from the name alone. In The Little Ones expansion you will explore the hardships of wartime survival through an entirely new perspective, that of a group of adults and children huddled in an old buildings with no supplies to speak of.
Explaining This War of Mine through words alone rarely does it justice, so here's the recently released trailer for The Little Ones DLC:
CliffyB's Lawbreakers will be entering closed alpha later this month
- By Ash

Lawbreakers is an upcoming FPS with a rather casual relationship with physics and common sense, with the end result being a fast-paced arena shooter that features some unique mobility options. The general idea behind it is to make a return to the classic FPS gameplay of old, mostly through the overuse of explosions, near-constant action, and gibs flying all over the place.
If you're wondering what all of this will look like in action you will have a chance to personally find out as the closed alpha for Lawbreakers is set to begin later this month. Until then, however, a simple trailer will have to suffice:
