[Update #2]: World of Warcraft's Update 10.1 will be adding a new zone, raid and cross-faction guilds on May 2nd.
[Update]: World of Warcraft's freshly launched Update 10.0.7 is all about getting new characters up to speed.
Instead of going with yet another world-ending event that requires our utmost attention, World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's Update 10.0.5 has decided to take things in the completely opposite direction. As such, the freshly released update is almost entirely about cosmetics and customizations!
First and foremost, you can now transmog the appearance of poor (grey) and common (white) quality items. Many of these items are highly thematic sets from previous expansions, so if you prefer to have your characters look practical rather than ridiculous, the 'new' appearances are well worth messing around with.

[Update #2]: The Shadows Over Innistrad Remastered expansion has been unleashed alongside hundreds of classic cards and a really fun draft environment!
[Update]: MTG Arena's Phyrexia: All Will be One expansion has now arrived with plenty of poison and proliferation.
I hope you're in the mood for a bit of body horror, because MTG Arena's Phyrexia: All Will be One expansion is set to launch this February 7th. Once it arrives it'll bring with it 261 new cards to play around with, ten new planeswalker cards of which five will be compleated, as well as reprints of some fan-favorite cards like Phyrexian Obliterator and Phyrexian Arena.
When it comes to the actual mechanics behind the cards, there's nothing too crazy this time around. As you would expect from a Phyrexian set, a good chunk of cards are focused around poison counters and proliferation, while the Mirran rebellion is all about fancy weapons that come pre-equipped onto token creatures, quite similar to living weapons in former sets.
Darktide's Update 1.02 has brought in a bunch of small but meaningful balance tweaks, fixes and improvements

[Update #2]: Darktide's big Crafting and Progression update has now arrived with far more improvements than expected!
[Update]: Darktide's Update 1.0.25 has buffed Psykers, Ogryn and somehow even Veterans.
As announced during the recent developer update, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide studio Fatshark will be suspending all work on seasonal content, new microtransactions and the Xbox port in order to get the PC version to a nice and stable position. And in order to show their commitment to the whole process, they have now released Update 1.02 which brings with it a ton of small but meaningful balance tweaks, fixes and improvements.
The most important of these changes, at least as far as higher difficulties are concerned, are the tweaks to enemy suppression. Previously enemy gunners (both the elite and non-elite variants) would casually ignore absurd amounts of carnage happening around them in order to keep shooting at the players. Even if half of their group got literally atomized before their very eyes, they would still hold their ground and keep firing.

After a lengthy delay, Square Enix's exploration focused action-adventure Forspoken has now finally been unleashed onto PC and consoles. As you might imagine given the genre alone, Forspoken is all about wondering across an open world in search of treasure, secrets, and enemies to smash in the face with a wide array of flashy spells.
Rather than babble on, allow me to share with you one of the lengthier gameplay previews. That should give you a pretty good idea what Forspoken looks like, plays like and what it's even trying to do. Have a gander:
Warhammer 40k: Darktide devs are suspending new content, microtransactions and the Xbox version in order to focus on much-needed fixes

[Update #2]: Darktide's big Crafting and Progression update has now arrived with far more improvements than expected!
[Update]: Darktide's Update 1.0.25 has buffed Psykers, Ogryn and somehow even Veterans.
While Darktide's moment-to-moment gameplay experience is phenomenal, the endgame and progression systems leave a whole lot to be desired. Getting good weapons is extremely hard and mostly relies on random items from the hourly shop rotation, the upgrade system is still unfinished despite being promised for December, and some of the weekly missions are so grindy that you can't realistically complete them without treating Darktide as a secondary job.
In order to sort these types of problems out, as well as restore the community's faith in the game, Darktide studio Fatshark has now decided to undergo some rather drastic measures. Effective immediately, the studio will be suspending all work on seasonal content, new microtransactions and the Xbox Series X|S version in order to focus all of their efforts on addressing community criticism and getting Darktide to a much more stable position.

[Update #2]: Overwatch 2's Season 3 update won't add a new hero, but rather a new Control map - Antarctic Peninsula.
[Update]: Overwatch 2 will be fixing many of the frustrating aspects of Competitive Play in Seasons 3 and 4.
In order to help Season 2 end on a bit of a high note, Blizzard has now unleashed a small yet highly important balance update. This one doesn't feature any buffs whatsoever, but rather an assortment of nerfs to four of the most powerful heroes in the game: Roadhog, Orisa, Sojourn and Kiriko.
Rather than babble on, allow me to share with you the brief patch notes, along with Blizzard's reasoning for some of the major changes. Have a gander:
Desperados 3 and Shadow Tactics studio's next game Shadow Gambit is a fun mixture of pirates, magic, stealth and strategy

After getting a taste for the supernatural with Desperados 3, it seems like Mimimi Games have decided to go all in on the craziness with their next project. A good thing too, because the freshly announced Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew looks like a really fun mixture of pirates, magic, stealth and strategy!
Much like the previous games, Shadow Gambit will task you with infiltrating heavily guarded fortresses, sneaking behind enemy lines in order to place traps or create diversions, and picking off unsuspecting guards in order to give you more wiggle room. Once all of your characters are in position, you can then use your mystical skills and supernaturally enhanced abilities to surgically take out your opponents before they even realize something is amiss.
