Superfuse comic and superhero inspired Diablo 2 like ARPG

Instead of going with the usual dark fantasy setting that seems to mark most ARPGs, the recently released Superfuse is a comic book and superhero themed hack'n'slash set in the distant future. As you would expect from any game inspired by Diablo 2, Superfuse's gameplay is all about carving a path through untold numbers of aliens and monstrosities with unique classes and abilities, all the while vacuuming up more loot than any human could ever possibly hope to carry.

How all of this looks like in action, however, that you can get a pretty good idea of through the launch trailer below. Have a gander:

Before you get too excited, it's important to mention that Superfuse has only just launched into Early Access and is thus both unfinished and unpolished. There is some genuine potential here, there is no doubt about that, though in its current state Superfuse is simply too rough around the edges for me to recommend.

After a couple of months, and ideally a couple of updates as well, I can definitely see things looking a whole lot better. As such, my advice would be to exercise a bit of patience while occasionally checking in on Superfuse and its progress, especially if you like the idea of a superhero themed ARPG.

You can do so, as well as keep track of any developer updates, over at Steam. Enjoy!
