Back 4 Blood will not be getting any more content updates as Turtle Rock Studios are now working on a brand new game

Despite each expansion getting better and better in terms of quality, it looks like Back 4 Blood never managed to capture enough of an audience to warrant long-term support. And so, after a little over a year's worth of updates, Turtle Rock Studios are now shifting their attention towards their next big project.

"With three expansions – Tunnels of Terror, Children of the Worm, and River of Blood – we’ve traveled on a fantastic adventure together beyond the walls of Fort Hope," reads the brief announcement. "This phase of our war against the Ridden now comes to a close."

Overwatch 2's Season 3 won't add a new hero, but rather a new Control map - Antarctic Peninsula

[Update #2]: Blizzard has now revealed the full Season 3 Roadmap, including a Dating Sim event!

[Update]: Overwatch 2's Season 3 will bring back the Workshop and complex Custom Games, while Season 4 will remove the unpopular Map Pools.

Unlike the first two seasons, Overwatch 2's big Season 3 update won't bring with it a brand new character to play around with. Instead, Blizzard is aiming to release a sizable balance patch alongside some long-requested quality-of-life improvements and, most importantly, a chilly new map called Antarctic Peninsula!

Just like all of the other Control maps, Antarctic Peninsula will actually be three maps in one! As such, you can look forward to saying hello to the penguins outside of the research base itself, messing up all of the sensitive equipment in the industrial part, and even exploring the actual science labs. What all of this looks like in action, that you can get a little sneak peek at through the Twitter teaser.

[Update]: The PC version of The Last of Us Part I has now arrived, though sadly alongside a bunch of technical trouble.

If the excellent TV show has gotten you ready and raring to dive into the upcoming PC version of The Last of Us Part I, I'm afraid I have a small bit of bad news to share. Instead of launching in early March as previously expected, The Last of Us Part I will instead be arriving on March 28th, 2023.

"We want to make sure that The Last of Us Part 1 PC debut is in the best shape possible," reads the brief developer update. "These additional few weeks will allow us to ensure this version of The Last of Us Part I lives up to your, and our, standards."

World War Z update has added Horde Mode XL with an absurd amount of zombies, along with better weapon progression

Despite releasing all the way back in 2019, the co-op focused shooter World War Z has just recently unleashed a sizable new update. The definite highlight is the new Horde Mode XL that will pit you (and potentially a couple of friends) against a frankly ridiculous amount of zombies - over 1000 at a time!

The good news doesn't end there, however, as World War Z has also taken this opportunity to spruce up the Horde Mode with a new mutator system. As the name might suggest, these mutators will shake up the usual gameplay formula by having you face off against different types of challenges each time, including beefed up versions of special zombies.

[Update]: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has now landed onto PC, though unfortunately alongside some dreadful performance problems.

If you were hoping to get your hands on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor this March 17th, I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news. In order to ensure the game launches in as polished and complete of a state as possible, Respawn has now decided to push back Jedi: Survivor's release date to April 28th, 2023.

"Jedi: Survivor is a direct response to the feedback from our community, delivering expansive destinations to explore, evolved combat and traversal, and of course, the continuation of Cal and BD's story," reads the brief announcement. "Making this game has truly made us a better team, and we have pushed ourselves at every level to make this the Star Wars sequel our fans expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games."

Overwatch 2 will be fixing many of the frustrating aspects of its Competitive Play in Seasons 3 and 4

By Ash

[Update #2]: The good news continues! It looks like Season 3 will bring back the Workshop and complex Custom Games, while Season 4 will remove the unpopular Map Pools.

[Update]: Overwatch 2's Season 3 update won't add a new hero, but rather a new Control map - Antarctic Peninsula.

While Overwatch 2's gameplay is highly enjoyable, trying to play it seriously and fight your way through the ranks of Competitive Play can often be an incredibly frustrating experience. Not only are the matches rarely balanced, but you don't even get to see any changes to your rank for a dozen or so games. And then, to really top it all off, at the end of the season you get automatically deranked and have to go through the whole ordeal all over again!

Needless to say, this is not ideal, which is why I'm happy to report that Blizzard has heard the community's complaints loud and clear. Better yet, they have just announced how and when they're going to fix some of them! Here's what you can look forward to:

If the dour weather has sparked a bit of an interest in survival-horror, you'll be pleased to hear that the Dead Space remake has now arrived onto PC and consoles. The new version has been completely rebuilt from the ground up and, unsurprisingly, comes with improved visuals, audio and gameplay mechanics while still staying true to the original's vision.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, and a video has a whole lot of pictures, allow me to share with you one of the extended gameplay previews. That should give you a pretty good idea of just what the Dead Space remake is all about, as well as how it compares to the original. Have a look:
