[Update]: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has now landed onto PC, though unfortunately alongside some dreadful performance problems.

If you were hoping to get your hands on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor this March 17th, I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news. In order to ensure the game launches in as polished and complete of a state as possible, Respawn has now decided to push back Jedi: Survivor's release date to April 28th, 2023.

"Jedi: Survivor is a direct response to the feedback from our community, delivering expansive destinations to explore, evolved combat and traversal, and of course, the continuation of Cal and BD's story," reads the brief announcement. "Making this game has truly made us a better team, and we have pushed ourselves at every level to make this the Star Wars sequel our fans expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games."

"In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule. Thanks to EA and Respawn for giving us the time to deliver the best experience for our players, and to all of you for your understanding."

While no new preview has been shared in quite a while, you can get a pretty good idea of the sort of atmosphere and gameplay style Jedi: Survivor is going for through the reveal trailer below. Have a gander:

Once more information becomes available, and ideally once Respawn releases a lengthier gameplay preview, I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, you can read a few tidbits about Jedi: Survivor over at Steam. Enjoy!
