The colorful collectathon Snake Pass has now added a score-chasing Arcade Mode

Snake Pass is a retro collectathon where instead of the usual jumping about you need to coil around bamboo, slither alongside walls, dangle over absurdly large and dangerous cliffs, and do whatever else you might imagine an adorable cartoon snake doing. I reviewed it back in April of 2017 and I had a great deal of fun doing so, which is why I'm glad to say that the developers have now added a bit more replayability through the new score-chasing Arcade Mode.
As you might imagine from the name alone, the Arcade Mode will task you with completing each of the 15 levels while eating as much fruit as possible within the time limit. The more fruit you can rack up in a quick succession the more your score multiplayer will rise, so if you want to reach the very top of the leaderboard you'll need to learn the levels inside out!
You can get a small peek at what the new Arcade Mode looks like in-game through the recently posted teaser trailer. It's not a very long or very detailed video, but it should get the point across regardless. Have a gander:
Outlast 2 devs have added an easier "Story Mode" and reinserted some previously cut content

While Outlast 2 is a highly enjoyable survival-horror with an amazing atmosphere almost throughout the whole game, it does have one annoying flaw: there are simply far too many enemies preventing you from taking the time to explore the environments and see all of the bizarre little details. In order to offer an alternative, as well as help out completely new players, developer Red Barrel has now released an easier "Story Mode" with less enemy encounters and more room to explore.
"It is still possible to die, but we’ve decreased the number of enemies and have lowered their speed, damage and perception," reads the brief description on Steam. "We’ve also made tweaks to the pacing of the game to make more room for exploration, instead of chases."
Battlerite's update has added a brand new paladin-like champion and an Easter themed event

A mere few weeks have passed since Battlerite was graced by the sneaky and extremely aggressive Jamila, and already Stunlock Studios have released another champion. The newly added Ulric can best be described as a paladin, a melee-support that is fully capable of both healing his allies and dishing out a fair bit of punishment.
You can find the full list of his abilities, as well as all of his battlerites, over at the official website. If you just want the quick version, however, allow me to share with you the most recent Champion Preview. It's a little bit on the short side, but it'll still give you a good idea of what to expect from Ulric. Have a gander:
The remastered version of the classic cRPG Neverwinter Nights has now made its way to Steam

[Update #2]: Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition update has significantly improved the visuals!
[Update]: Neverwinter Nights has now received another hefty expansion - Tyrants of the Moonsea!
After only a few months since the original announcement, the remastered version of the classic cRPG Neverwinter Nights has now made its way to Steam. It has brought with it support for modern resolutions and the ability to actually read the text on today's monitors, a variety of minor graphical improvements, backwards compatibility with the original game, as well as some fan-requested improvements to both the storytelling and gameplay.
Unfortunately, the impressive graphical improvements Beamdog showcased a few weeks ago are currently not a part of the Enhanced Edition. Whether they will actually arrive or when they will do so, I'm afraid I simply don't know, and that is somewhat disappointing since Neverwinter Nights is one of those games that could really use a visual upgrade!

Vermintide 2 devs have uncovered a huge problem with Hero Power scaling in all four difficulties

While trying to figure out why some of the talents aren't working as intended, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 developer Fatshark came upon a much bigger issue. As it turns out, the scaling system that's supposed to give new players a boost and veterans a true challenge was not working at all, thus resulting in a bit of an inverted difficulty curve.
"Long story short, we have a system in place that is supposed to cap, scale and buff your Hero Power when calculating damage, cleave and stagger results for each attack. Unfortunately this system does nothing currently and instead returns your raw Hero Power unbuffed," Fatshark explained in a fairly lengthy forum post. "Recruit and Veteran are fairly on par but the difference is noticeable on Champion and Legendary."
Skull & Bones' gameplay preview shows off the combat and visuals, as well as how different it is from Sea of Thieves

While the recently released Sea of Thieves is more of a pirate-adventure where the ships are only one part of the whole experience, Ubisoft's upcoming naval action game Skull & Bones is all about the ships and ships alone. As such, in Skull & Bones you won't be playing as one member of a larger crew that constantly goes around on adventures, but rather as the ship itself, with all of the advantages and disadvantages that concept brings with it.
Since I'm sure I've only managed to confuse you even further, allow me to share with you a fairly lengthy gameplay preview. It'll give you a pretty darn good idea of what Skull & Bones is all about, and perhaps most importantly, just how different it is from Sea of Thieves - the game the majority of people seem to believe it's competing with. Killing Floor 2's update has added a new game mode, two new maps, three new weapons, and more

One of the main reasons why the original Killing Floor has become such a cult classic is the constant influx of major updates, each which brought in new maps and weapons to play around with. As such, I am very pleased to say that Killing Floor 2 appears to be following in the same footsteps given that today's Infinite Onslaught update has added a brand new game mode, three new weapons, two new maps, a bunch of cosmetics, and the list goes on.
The new game mode, as you might expect given how often it has been requested, is an endless horde mode that will test your skills against increasingly crushing waves of mutants and monstrosities. What might come as a bit of a surprise is that you won't be buying new weapons from The Trader, but rather from the big bad Patriarch himself! How exactly that works, I'm afraid I haven't tested just yet, but it's certainly a bit of a... unique change.
