The asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight will be celebrating its second anniversary this June. In order to commemorate the occasion, as well as ensure the third year is even more successful, the developers are planning a whole host of new features and extra content for 2018.
While their exact release dates are still shrouded in mist, you can expect to see 4 new survivors, killers and maps, as well as a new progression system to help you unlock them in a much simpler and quicker fashion. There will also be cosmetic items you can purchase with real money or simply earn in-game by playing. The current plan is for this system to extend to all survivors and killers, though there might be some limitations on DLC characters due to licensing deals.
Work on the System Shock remaster has now been resumed, though the release has also been pushed back to 2020

[Update]: The System Shock Remake has now arrived, and it's looking quite good so far! The console versions are also on the way, though those will be coming at a later date.
After starting off extremely strong with a playable demo during its initial Kickstarter campaign, the development of the System Shock remaster unfortunately encountered problem after problem. This eventually resulted in the project being put on ice, with the developers taking a break in order to reassess their approach and return to the original vision. A rather ill omen, and one that most projects never manage to recover from.
Thankfully, according to PCGamer's recent interview with Nightdive Studios' CEO Stephen Kick and Business Development Director Larry Kuperman, the work on the System Shock remaster has now been resumed! Don't get to excited, however, as the new release date has been tentatively set for Q1 of 2020.
Overwatch's PTR update is aiming to nerf D.Va and Zenyatta, buff Mei and Reaper, and fix Doomfist, Moira and Bastion bugs

While Blizzard made a bit of a misstep by walling off the newly released Brigitte from the competitive mode for another 5 weeks or so, they have more than made up for that with the latest PTR update. Not only does it contain some long-awaited nerfs to heroes that have been dominating the Overwatch League, but it also has some nice buffs and bug fixes for the underperforming ones!
D.Va and Zenyatta are getting their damage potential slightly reduced, Mei and Reaper are being made more reliable, while Moira, Doomfist and Bastion are getting some of their most annoying bugs and animations fixed. There is no easy way to sum all of this up, so allow me to share with you all of the most important hero changes:
Total War: Thrones of Britannia's latest gameplay preview offers a closer look at the Viking campaign

Total War: Thrones of Britannia will be the very first of the new Total War Saga series. What this means is that instead of covering a large amount of territory and trying to capture an entire historical era, Thrones of Britannia will offer a much more detailed look at some of the most interesting events that happened in a relatively short time frame and much smaller location.
If you're wondering how exactly all of this translates into gameplay, allow me to share with you the newly posted developer preview for the Northymbre campaign. As you might expect from a Viking faction, there's rarely a dull and peaceful moment, so I'd definitely recommend giving it a look:
Hollow Knight's Lifeblood Update is set to improve performance, rebalance combat, and even add a brand new boss

Hollow Knight is without a single doubt one of the best games from 2017, a fact that I'm reminded of every couple of months as the developers just can't stop releasing major updates for it. While the previous ones were more like mini-expansions, the upcoming Lifeblood Update is more centered around improving and polishing what is already present.
As such, you can expect to see numerous balance tweaks, improved performance across a variety of machines, a whole host of bug fixes, additional sound effects and voices, and for those among you that don't like having to memorize every major location on the map, the ability to purchase map markers! There will also be a brand new boss fight with its own unique music track, a significant rework of one of the original bosses, as well as a bunch currently unannounced extras to peruse.
Vermintide 2 has managed to earn more revenue in two weeks than the original in its entire lifetime

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 released on March 8th to some highly positive reviews from both critics and players alike. I also found it to be remarkably enjoyable in my review, despite all of the bugs and questionable balancing that's currently working against it.
With that in mind, I was very glad to report that as of March 13th Vermintide 2 had managed to sell more than 500,000 copies - a truly impressive achievement for what is essentially an indie game. Back then I mentioned that Vermintide 2 is going to achieve an even bigger milestone once it finally arrives on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year, but as it turns out I was way off in my speculation as it only took another week!
What I mean by this is that Vermintide 2 has managed to earn more revenue in two weeks than the original has done in its entire lifetime, and all of this is without any sort of microtransactions! This information comes to us from a brief interview PCGamesInsider had with Fatshark's CEO Martin Wahlund.
Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom has made its way to PC and consoles alongside highly positive reviews

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is a bright and colorful third-person RPG that will have you take control of Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, a young king that suddenly found himself ousted from the throne and is now on a quest to reclaim his kingdom. Along the way you'll be able to roam across a massive open-world, visit various towns filled with quirky characters, delve through dungeons in search of loot and bosses to fight, and perhaps most obviously given the title, build and manage your very own kingdom.
While the most recent gameplay trailer unfortunately won't show you all of this in action, it will at least give you a decent idea of what the visuals and combat are all about. So if you're interested in Ni no Kuni 2, here's what the Brineskimmer boss fight looks like:
