Following in the footsteps of the excellent Resident Evil 2 Remake, the freshly launched Resident Evil 4 is a full and faithful reconstruction of one of the most famous survival horror games out there. As you would expect, the remake comes with greatly improved visuals, modernized gameplay and a reimagined story, though at its core it's still good ol' Resident Evil 4.
Rather than babble on, allow me to share with you the launch trailer. It may be short, but it should clue you in quite quickly on just what the remake is trying to do and how it compares to the original. Have a peek:

[Update #2]: Total War: Warhammer 3 devs have detailed their roadmap for updates throughout 2023 and early 2024.
[Update]: Total War: Warhammer 3's Update 3.0 will bring with it four brand new challenge missions - Trials of Fate.
After well over a year of subtle and not-so-subtle teasers, Creative Assembly has now finally unveiled Total War: Warhammer 3's next DLC faction. Unsurprisingly, it's going to be the brutal, industrious and irrevocably cruel Chaos Dwarfs.
The Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs DLC will bring with it three new Legendary Lords with their own unique mechanics and gameplay styles, a brand new lore of magic, as well as 26 new units to mess around with - everything from the hordes of half-naked Orc slaves to the mighty K’daai Destroyer war machines. What this looks like in action, that you can check out through two of the trailers below. Have a gander, starting with the cinematic one:
Overwatch 2's has launched a new Pachimari themed game mode alongside a couple of new cosmetics

[Update #2]: The new support hero Lifeweaver has now arrived alongside Season 4, and while he's currently a bit weak, his abilities sure do show a lot of potential!
Even though the One-Punch Man crossover is still ongoing, Blizzard has decided to throw in an additional event to help spice things up a bit. However, instead of another crossover, the freshly released 'PachiMarchi' is more of a classic event.
In other words, PachiMarchi brings with it a new limited time game mode by the name of Catch-A-Mari, as well as a couple of simple challenges to help you snag lots of bonus experience for the Battle Pass and Pachimari (the weird onion-octopus thing) themed cosmetics of which the Roadhog skin pictured above is definitely the highlight. A fairly simple event in the grand scheme of things, but a nice little distraction regardless!
Darktide's Tools of War update has brought in 10 new weapons and a whole bunch of improvements

[Update #2]: Darktide's Rejects Unite update is adding two new maps, Chaos Spawn boss, and even more cosmetics!
[Update]: Darktide's Update #8 has finally fixed finicky specials (Hounds, Poxbursters & Mutants) and buffed the fan-favorite Plasma Gun.
Now that most of the big issues have been squared away, it looks like it's finally time for Darktide to once again start getting new content. And so, as a part of the freshly released Tools of War update, Darktide has now brought in ten new weapon variants to mess around with, a couple of crucial buffs to Psykers to make their kit flow better in the thick of combat, as well as a plethora of quality-of-life improvements and tweaks.
After trying out all of the new toys, my definite favorite is the Psyker's Illisi Mk V Blaze Force Sword. It's a giant sword meant for cleaving through large swaths of enemies, and while you can only do one charged attack at a time, the devastation it causes is well worth the trouble. It also has decent mobility and a fast attack speed, so if you need a weapon that can get you out of a bind as quickly as possible, this one would be a good choice!
MTG Arena's Shadows Over Innistrad Remastered expansion has arrived with hundreds of classic cards

[Update #2]: MTG Arena's Aftermath mini-expansion is coming on May 11th with 50 new Standard-legal cards.
[Update]: MTG Arena's March of the Machine expansion has now arrived with a new card type, improved duplicate protection, and the ability to select your favorite card style!
I hope you're in the mood for a blast from the past, because MTG Arena has just unleashed the Shadows Over Innistrad Remastered expansion. It brings with it 302 classic cards to experiment with in both Historic and Explorer formats, as well as an additional 81 cards from the oridinal Innistrad set that are exclusively available in Historic.
The most exciting of the new cards is easily Emrakul, the Promised End (pictured below). It's not the most powerful card, but its ability to seize control over the opponent's turn is such a cool and unique effect that it's hard to imagine the set without it. Yet that's almost what happened, because according to Wizards of the Coast, Emrakul only ended up being implemented because a group of developers went well out of their way to make it work!
Diablo 4's surprisingly brief yet free Open Beta will be running from March 24 - 26

[Update]: Diablo 4 has now finally arrived, and while there are some notable issues, it's pretty good fun.
If after three years of teasers, previews and developer diaries you're now itching to see what Blizzard has managed to achieve with Diablo 4, you'll be happy to hear that there will be a free Open Beta launching in the near future. The one bit of bad news is that the Open Beta will only stick around for a short amount of time, so try to keep your schedule clear between March 24-26 if you really want to take a proper bite out of Diablo 4.
As for what exactly you can expect to see in terms of gameplay, that you can check out through the developer-guided preview below. The dialogue, as is tradition with these types of videos, is a bit ham-fisted, but I'd still recommend checking it out purely because of the gameplay. Have a gander:
All of MTG Arena's upcoming Shadow Over Innistrad Remastered cards have now been revealed

[Update]: The Shadows Over Innistrad Remastered expansion has arrived with hundreds of classic cards and a really fun draft environment!
In order to really spice up both the Explorer and Historic formats, MTG Arena will be launching Shadow Over Innistrad Remastered on March 21st. The remastered set will bring with it 302 classic cards to mess around with, as well as an additional 81 cards from the original Innistrad set that will be exclusively available in Historic.
I'd say the definite highlight of the new set is Emrakul, the Promised End (pictured below). It might not be the most powerful card around these days, but it's easily one of the most unique cards on Arena, and one that's so complicated to actually implement that many feared it would be skipped over entirely. I can only hope it doesn't end up being too buggy because there is an insane amount of stuff you can do when you have full control of an opponent's actions, especially with all of the new digital cards.
