Overwatch 2 One-Punch Man crossover event skin for Doomfist - Saitama

[Update #2]: Overwatch 2 will be adding the highly mobile support hero Lifeweaver with the Season 4 update.

[Update]: Overwatch 2's has launched a new Pachimari themed game mode alongside a couple of new cosmetics.

The Overwatch team has done a couple of crossovers and homages before with skins like Lego Bastion, but for the most part Blizzard has stuck to their own games for inspiration. However, with the latest update, they have decided to try something a little bit out of the ordinary.

As such, instead of simply being inspired by pop culture icons, Overwatch 2 has now teamed up with One-Punch Man to release official crossover skins. The four in question are: Saitama Doomfist, Terrible Tornado Kiriko, Genos Genji and Mumen Rider Soldier 76.

The first three you can grab through the in-game store, while the Mumen Rider themed Soldier 76 skin and its accompanying cosmetic items can be unlocked by simply playing the game. You'll need to complete 24 matches in total in order to unlock everything, though that shouldn't be too hard to do given that the crossover event will be running all the way until April 6th.

Here's a brief rundown of all the prizes and their requirements:

4 games played – Saitama’s Fist Weapon Charm
8 games played – Mumen Rider Name Card
12 games played – Cyclist of Justice Victory Pose for Soldier: 76
16 games played – Justice Crash Highlight Intro for Soldier: 76
20 games played – Boros Weapon Charm
24 games played – Legendary Mumen Rider-Soldier: 76 skin

Finally, it's also worth mentioning that the update has brought with it a batch of small yet impactful balance changes like Sojourn's torso hitbox becoming 20% larger. You can check out the full list of tweaks over at the official website.

Have fun collecting all of the new crossover items, and I'll make sure to let you know once the next big update goes live.
