Even though it had a bit of a rough start, Fatshark has slowly but surely managed to improve Vermintide 2 in nearly every way. And now, an entire year since launch, Vermintide 2's balance is in an excellent place, there is a wide variety of maps to mess around with, and the once incredibly frustrating enemies have finally been made consistent and bug-free.
In order to celebrate all of this, Fatshark has now released the Anniversary Update alongside a brand new map called "A Quiet Drink". If you're interested in all of the details, as well as the full patch notes, you should hop on over to Steam to learn more.
The charming first-person 'farm simulator' Slime Rancher is free until March 21st

[Update]: Slime-covered yet adorable Slime Rancher 2 is heading into Early Access on September 22, 2022.
The Epic Games Store released a little while ago, and in order to entice people to come over and check it out, Epic announced that they would be giving away a free game every two weeks throughout the entirety of 2019. The current offer, as you might guess from the title alone, is the rather adorable and quite quirky 'farm simulator' Slime Rancher.
I haven't played Slime Rancher myself, so I can't offer you much in terms of advice, but from what I've seen it has generally positive reviews across the board. So if you're a fan of the genre, or just looking for something to relax with, Slime Rancher does appear to be worth a closer look. After all, it is entirely free!
The Diablo inspired Warhammer: Chaosbane is having a closed beta until March 13th

Warhammer: Chaosbane is a Diablo inspired hack & slash filled with hordes of demons to slay, mountains of loot to acquire, as well as a variety of heroes and abilities to mess around with. If this sounds like it's right up your alley, you might be interested to hear that Warhammer: Chaosbane is currently having a Closed Beta for those that have pre-ordered. That said, there is no restriction on gameplay footage, so even if you're not planning on pre-purchasing, you should still be able to get a pretty good idea of what Warhammer: Chaosbane is really like.
On the other hand, if you are interested in playing the Closed Beta, it is worth mentioning that it only contains a somewhat limited amount of content. Right now that means around ten quests and only two out of the four playable characters - the Empire Soldier and High Elf Mage. For me that took around three to four hours to fully complete, which is probably a good thing as the Closed Beta will be closing down its doors at 9am GMT on March 13th.
Guild Wars 2's PvP-focused mount Warclaw has now finally arrived

- in News
Guild Wars 2 was originally supposed to receive the PvP-focused mount Warclaw back in February, but unfortunately ArenaNet got hit by a rather large amount of layoffs, around a hundred people in total. As you might imagine, this caused quite a bit of chaos within the studio, and as such the Warclaw mount was pushed back towards March.
The wait is now finally over, thankfully, and the PvP-focused Warclaw has pounced onto the live servers alongside a rather large balance update. You can find all of the details, as well as read the full patch notes, over at the official forums.

[Update]: Capcom has now removed the controversial DRM Denuvo from Devil May Cry 5!
After quite a few previews and teasers, Devil May Cry 5 has now finally made its way to both PC and consoles. Much like its predecessors, Devil May Cry 5's combat is ridiculously over-the-top, flashy and filled with plenty of ways to combo your enemies into oblivion.
If you're curious about how this might look like in gameplay terms, allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer showing off Dante's combat style. It's a pretty short and entertaining video, so have a gander:
