Overwatch's next update is looking to address the dominance of triple tank, triple support teams

[Update]: Baptiste has now arrived to the live servers alongside a truly game-changing set of balance tweaks.

If you've been paying attention to the Overwatch League, chances are you've noticed that most teams are running some variant of GOATs (triple tank and triple support), with very few DPS heroes ever being played for any extended period of time. Not exactly an ideal situation, especially considering that DPS heroes make up the greatest portion of Overwatch's roster.

In order to address this problem, as well as freshen up the competitive meta, Blizzard has once again updated the Overwatch PTR with a variety of balance changes. You can find all of the details over at the official website, but for now, allow me to share with you the most important changes:

The Division 2 will be coming to PC and consoles this March 15th, but if you would like to give it a try ahead of time, you might be interested to hear that Ubisoft will be holding an Open Beta from March 1st to 4th. A relatively small timeframe, but it should be plenty of time to let you know whether The Division 2 is your style of game or not.

When it comes to the actual content, Ubisoft has now announced that the Open Beta will have quite a few missions and modes to mess around with. There will be three story focused missions to explore, five side missions, a 4v4 PvP mode and a new Dark Zone to fight other players in, as well as a variety of other, relatively minor activities.

[Update]: The second major DLC Keepers of the Void will be coming to PC and consoles this July.

If you're a fan of Darksiders 3's combat and you're looking for a fresh excuse to beat up some demons, you might be interested to hear that the combat-focused DLC "The Crucible" has now arrived. As you might imagine, The Crucible is essentially one giant arena battle where you'll have to cleave through wave after wave of increasingly more difficult enemies in order to get better and better loot.

There are 101 waves in total, and depending on how far you go, you can expect to receive new armor sets and enhancements, as well as a variety of crafting materials to help beef up your arsenal. You can get a pretty good idea of what all of this looks like in gameplay terms through the recently posted trailer down below. Have a gander:

Development on Overkill's The Walking Dead appears to have been canceled

Overkill's The Walking Dead official artwork showing the characters alongside zombies

While the idea of combining Payday 2 with zombies is not without merit, the end result was unfortunately a bit of a mess. Overkill's The Walking Dead launched with a variety of technical problems, boring mission design, uninspired combat and a surprising lack of content given how long it was in development. Overkill promised that they would sort all of those issues out with patches, but according to the latest announcement, it would appear that will not be happening.

In a statement given to Variety, Robert Kirkman's Skybound Games said that they share the community's disappointment with Overkill's The Walking Dead and that they are in the process of terminating their contract with the studio. The console versions of Overkill's The Walking Dead have consequently been canceled, while the fate of the PC version is still up in the air.

The latest Humble Bundle is all about the Neptunia JRPG series

If you're up for trying something a little bit different, you might want to go and check out the latest Humble 'Neptunia' Bundle. The Neptunia series is not exactly easy to explain, but it's essentially a collection of cutesy JRPGs that serve as satire of the gaming industry, going as far as to make the main characters personifications of various consoles and platforms.

The Humble 'Neptunia' Bundle will be around for another five days, and if you're curious about the series, allow me to share with you the list of games and the pricing tier they appear in. Have a gander:

Overwatch's 30th hero Baptiste has now landed on the PTR alongside a massive balance update

By Ash

[Update]: Baptiste has now arrived to the live servers alongside a truly game-changing set of balance tweaks.

After a couple of brief previews and a story trailer, Overwatch's 30th hero Baptiste has now made his way to the PTR. Funnily enough, the big grenade launcher that was displayed prominently in the story trailer is not used for blowing enemies apart, but rather healing allies! When it comes to dishing out damage, however, the weapon is also capable of shooting like a standard burst-fire rifle, so don't worry about Baptiste being defenseless on the battlefield.

There is unfortunately no in-game trailer demonstrating all of Baptiste's abilities in action, but you can get a pretty good overview of them by visiting the official website. Personally, I'd recommend downloading the PTR as experiencing all of the abilities first hand is far better than having them described to you.

Tekken 7 will be getting Julia Chang and The Walking Dead's Negan this February 28th

By Ash

[Update]: Tekken 7's Season 4 patch has greatly improved the Netcode and added the nimble Kunimitsu!

Bandai Namco has now announced that Tekken 7 will be getting its next two characters on February 28th. The first one is Julia Chang, and this shouldn't come as much of a surprise given that she has made quite a few appearances since Tekken 3. However, unlike most of her previous incarnations, Tekken 7's Julia will not be wearing a Native American inspired outfit, but rather a more modern one.

As for the second character, it is none other than The Walking Dead's 'big bad' Negan. Naturally, Negan's weapon of choice will be his barbed-wire bat Lucille, while his finishing move will be one of the most iconic scenes from both the comics and the show. I won't go into any details in order to avoid spoiling anything, but let's just say it doesn't end well for the other guy!
