Here Be Dragons screenshot of sea monsters attacking the player ships

After spending a fairly short amount of time in Steam Early Access, Here Be Dragons has now been released in full. It brings with it a story dripping with satire, turn-based combat against a variety of legendary monsters of old, a bit of a strange world to navigate, as well as some rather charming visuals.

Since trying to explain that latter part through words alone is a bit of a pointless task, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It'll give you a pretty good idea of just what Here Be Dragons looks like, as well as what the actual gameplay is all about. Have a little peek:

While Here Be Dragons seems to be a fairly enjoyable strategy game, it is worth mentioning that the replayability appears to be quite low. You'll go through it in a fairly linear fashion by following the story, and there seems to be no character or ship customization to spice things up for a second playthrough. Obviously that isn't exactly a problem, but just do make sure you're okay with it being a 'one-and-done' type of game if you decide to grab it.

Either way, you can learn more about Here Be Dragons, as well as check out some of the other trailers, by sailing over to Steam. Have fun!
