[Update #2]: Resident Evil 3 and its companion Resident Evil 3 Resistance have been released, though sadly they don't seem to have lived up to the high standards set by Resident Evil 2.

After the extremely well made Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom will be attempting to push things even further with Resident Evil 3 this April 3rd. That's not going to be easy, however, as Nemesis will need to be an even more impressive and terrifying threat than Resident Evil 2's rather dapper Mr. X!

While the details about Nemesis are still few and far between, especially when it comes to his behavior now that there are no load zones, you can get a bit of a sneak peek at what the big boy has to offer through one of the recently posted trailers. Have a gander:

Seeing as Nemesis now has a flamethrower, I do wonder if they're actually going to give him his iconic rocket launcher. I would imagine trying to make that thing both balanced and somewhat realistic is not an easy task, especially now that the Resident Evil series is taking itself at least a tiny bit seriously. Still, I would love to see it appear at least as a part of one boss encounter, just for old times sake!
