Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled official artwork showing the characters

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this June 21st, bringing with it a variety of improvements over the original. You can expect to see enhanced visuals and audio, support for modern resolutions, tighter controls, as well as some new karts and tracks from "beyond the original game".

While the recently posted trailer doesn't feature much in terms of straight-up gameplay, it will give you a pretty good idea of what the newly remastered visuals and audio will be like. Have a gander, it's a fairly short one:

While it certainly looks faithful to the original, I do have one complaint to level against this trailer, and that would be that the shadows seem a bit rough around the edges, especially when the camera starts to pull away. I'm honestly not too worried about it given how polished the N. Sane Trilogy ended up being, but it's certainly something to keep an eye on once future trailers start rolling in.

As far as the PC version is concerned, nothing has been officially announced just yet. However, given that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy arrived a couple of months after the console versions without much of an announcement beforehand, I think it's safe to say we'll be getting the same sort of treatment with Nitro-Fueled as well.

Once more information becomes available I'll make sure to let you know, but until then you can read a little bit more about Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled over at the official website.
