The new Warcraft Movie trailer showcases what seems to be improved CGI

The previous Warcraft movie trailer released back in December during Blizzcon and while it got me quite excited the CGI looked a bit... off to say it politely.

Thankfully the recently released TV trailer (embedded below) seems to have corrected many of the CGI issues our green brown friends had, especially when standing next to humans. Here's the video:

Scott Cawthon, the creator of FNaF World, has pulled his latest RPG game from Steam due to negative feedback

If you haven't been following the story, Five Nights at Freddy's themed RPG FNaF World showed up on Steam a full month before its official release date in a rather unfinished state which resulted in so many complaints Scott Cawthon, the creator of the FNaF franchise, went on to publicly apologize for it.

And Scott, being the stand up guy that he is, simply couldn't continue selling FNaF World amidst so many complaints so he has pulled the game from Steam and offered full refunds to everyone, regardless of time played. Here's the announcement message:

Torment: Tides of Numenera Beta Review - Early Access Launch (January 26th)

Early Access review for Torment: Tides of Numenera

[Note]: This review is now greatly outdated, so I welcome you to check out my final, release version one instead. It should give you the most accurate representation of Torment's current state.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is a spiritual successor to possibly one of the best RPGs ever made, Planescape: Torment, and much like its predecessor focuses on compelling storytelling, interesting characters and plenty of different ways to solve any problem you might encounter.

Before I begin with my overview its important to note that this is the first playable iteration of the beta (version 0.0.0) and many things are either unfinished, unpolished or both so don't judge Torment too harshly for its flaws as its still under heavy development.

Mighty No. 9 has been delayed a third time

Oh how things have changed. Back when Mighty No. 9's Kickstarter first launched everyone was excited about the prospect of a new Megaman game without any corporate nonsense blocking its development and now, three delays and a heavily mismanaged campaign later, most of that excitement has turned to doubt and anger.

Mighty No. 9 was supposed to launch this February 9th but due to problems with the network modes and porting to various platforms its being delayed until Spring 2016. Here's what Keiji Inafune, the main man behind the game, had to say about the delay:

Eitr Is An Isometric Dark Souls Inspired ARPG Steeped In Norse Mythology

Eitr is an upcoming pixel art ARPG inspired by Dark Souls

Most people will agree that Dark Souls is a good game but it still surprises me how much of an impact it had on the gaming scene. The Souls series has at this point practically redefined what the ARPG genre stands for, a fact that you can clearly see when every new ARPG plainly states their Souls influence.

One such Dark Souls inspired game is Eitr, an isometric ARPG steeped in Norse mythology and done in pixel art by a small indie studio. Eitr recently came to my attention when VaatiVidya, a youtuber dedicated to all things Souls, did a short gameplay showcase which made it look quite incredible. Take a look for yourself:

5 minutes of HD PC The Division gameplay have been leaked

One would've thought that with The Division's embargo being lifted a little while back we would get a lot more HD footage and some high quality gameplay from the PC version of the game but that was unfortunately not the case.

Thankfully a beta tester who goes by the name Voodoo posted 5 minutes of The Division gameplay footage with the graphics set on high giving us a better view of both the visuals and the shooting mechanics. Here's the video:

World's Dawn is a Harvest Moon inspired life sim

The Harvest Moon series has always been an oddity for me. I'm the type of person that enjoys high-paced competitive games yet for some reason I've spent far more hours than I am willing to admit tending to my farm and raising innumerable hordes of chickens.

There aren't many life sim games on the PC, if there are any at all, so I'm really happy to tell you that World's Dawn, a Harvest Moon inspired life sim, is making its way to Steam today (January 25th). Here's the trailer:
