Rocket League Patch 1.08 Is Out Starring Mutators

When I first saw Rocket League I expected it to be one of those Internet fads, a game that surges in popularity for a few weeks, everyone talks about it and constantly plays it and then it slowly fades away and becomes forgotten (*cough* Slender *cough*).
What it turned out to be in the end is not a fad, but rather a very polished and even more so addictive game. And now, many months after release, Rocket League is not only going strong but is also getting ready for a major free patch.
New Diablo 3 Patch - 2.4.0 Coming To The Test Realm Shortly

Diablo 3 isn't one of my main games yet it still somehow ends up being one the few games I come back to and revisit every few months. It might be simply because I find it fascinating how much it changed with time, especially in the eyes of the players. It went from being hated by so many at launch to now being regarded as a classic in the making.
A big part of that change in community reception were the frequent and, dare I say, excellent patches that brought in new features as well as extensive balance changes that helped shake up the metagame and redefine what builds and spells people used in high level content.
And the announced 2.4.0 patch is exactly that kind of patch.
Hearthstone Expansion: League of Explorers Announced - Coming Next Thursday

Well this was unexpected. I knew a Hearthstone expansion would be announced on this year's Blizzcon but I certainly didn't expect it to be released quite literally next week, with the release date set for November 12th.
I have a feeling this is Blizzard's response to the rising amount of complaints about the current Hearthstone metagame, where deck archetypes are so aggressive and so entrenched nothing short of massive changes will shake them up. So will the League of Explorers bring with it that change?

After the disaster that Warlords of Draenor was I really didn't expect that I could be intrigued by a WoW trailer, yet here we are. And unlike the Warcraft movie trailer I have very few complaints with this one.
The trailer, despite how amazing it was, served simply as an intro for the massive amount of WoW related news that followed the most important of which I will try and outline for you here.

Blizzcon 2015 has finally arrived and with it a lot of juicy news and trailers. World of Warcraft players, and Warcraft fans in general, are in luck because Blizzard has started off their convention with something special.
The much teased Warcraft movie trailer is here and the release date is set for June 10, 2016.
A Witcher Movie Is Being Made!

Very rarely does a piece of news bring excitement to my cold, shriveled heart but the announcement of a Witcher movie is an exception.
It was announced in a press release that SDC Works (most famous for the Mummy series) is teaming up with Tomek Baginski, a Polish director who you might know from his work on the Witcher cinematics as well as the short film "The Cathedral" to make a full-length feature film based on the Witcher series of books.
Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition Is Now Available

Ah Darksiders 2, what a glorious game you could've been if you simply had more time. Alas with THQ being on the verge of bankruptcy Vigil Games had to launch the game as soon as possible.
The result was a stylish game mired in padding, excessive amount of pointless loot and an almost nonexistent difficulty curve. In the end THQ went bankrupt, the series sold to Nordic Games and very little was heard from it since.
Until recently. It appears that Nordic Games thought similarly of the series as I did because today they've released Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition which hopes to fix the errors of the past.
