The Five Nights At Freddy's Series Is Getting A New Game Set In A Sister Location

Despite stating multiple times that he's through and through with the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, Scott Cawthon has managed to break that self-imposed promise twice already, first with that strangely cheerful RPG FNaF World, and now with a brand new 'proper' Five Nights at Freddy's game.
As of right now the only things we know about the upcoming FNaF game is that it will be set in a sister location, as if the world needed even more murderous robots with constantly conflicting backstories, and that there never is just one, which to me instantly brings up the mental image of Freddy Fazbear as a Sith Lord.
Outlast 2 Is Shaping Up To Be Just As Terrifying As The Original

I am, as the experts would say, a little bitch when it comes to horror games, but Outlast was one of the rare few that managed to grip me for long enough to actually finish it, even though I had to take a short break after going through that very special scene in the middle of it.
And if you're thinking that the decrepit institution from Outlast 1 is about as scary as things get, I'm... afraid/glad to disappoint you as Outlast 2 is shaping up to be just as terrifying as the original, if not worse given that all of the action takes place in wide-open areas in the middle of bloody nowhere. If you don't believe me you can take a look for yourself as two gameplay videos were recently shown at PAX East:
The Closed Beta For Bethesda's 'The Elder Scrolls' Themed Answer To Hearthstone Has Begun

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Hearthstone has become quite the juggernaut when it comes to online card games, beating even Magic the Gathering Online despite it having years of advantage and an incredibly well designed interface and intuitive controls.
As you might imagine, with popularity comes competition, this time around from Bethesda and their The Elder Scrolls: Legends, a card game that might initially seem eerily similar to Hearthstone, but which brings some interesting ideas to the table. Here's the gameplay trailer so you can get the gist of it:
Id Has Announced A "Wide Variety Of Advanced Settings" For The PC Version Of Doom
- By Ash
- in News
If you've played the recent Doom open beta you most likely noticed how the advanced options were completely missing on PC, the framerate was capped, FOV couldn't be increased, and so forth. This combined with the gameplay being less like the arena shooters of old and more like Halo left a lot of PC players with plenty of anger to vent, and only one place to do so, Doom's beta page on Steam which ended up with around 8,000 negative reviews.
After seeing such an overwhelmingly poor response, Id and Bethesda quickly posted a message detailing all of the ways they plan to address PC issues, as well as what sort of graphical features we can expect to see in the release version.
Gearbox Has Confirmed That Borderlands 3 Will Be Their Next Game

- in News
While this should come as no surprise given the rampant popularity of the shoot & loot genre, its still good to hear that Gearbox aims to tackle Borderlands 3 as their next game.
This information comes from Eurogamer who attended the PAX East panel and found out that Gearbox will personally be developing the fourth game in the Borderlands series, with Gearbox's main writer Mikey Neumann (whom you might know as Scooter in-game) and Battleborn art director Scott Kester at the helm.
Valve Is Experimenting With 'Prime' Matchmaking For CS:GO

[Update]: Without any prior warning, Valve has just unleashed Counter-Strike 2 as a free update!
Anyone that has played CS:GO for a long period of time will instantly tell you that the two most annoying things you can face off against are obviously cheaters, but also smurfs, skilled players using a secondary account with a much lower rating in order to stomp all over the opposition.
While the recent patch notes don't mention anything about this, Valve has added an experimental 'Prime' matchmaking mode that's here to ensure only legitimate accounts face off against each other. Here's the gist of it, taken from the 'leaked FAQ' found within CS:GO's files:
Nostalrius Petition Has Reached 200,000 Signatures, Mark Kern Will Personally Sent It To Blizzard

Its truly impressive to see so many people rally around Nostalrius in order to convince Blizzard to finally bring back the Vanilla World of Warcraft servers, with all of their charm and flaws included.
The community outcry has been so loud that Mark Kern, the original Team Lead for World of Warcraft, got involved and stated that he would personally deliver the petition to Blizzard if it manages to reach 200,000 signatures. As you might imagine from the title, it has not only reached its goal, but has continued to grow past it, and as promised, Mark Kern has released the details of his plan in a brief blog post:
