Vermintide DLC Drachenfels

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide Drachenfels, besides being nearly unpronounceable, is a brand new DLC for the already excellent co-op shooter/slasher/magicker, and it brings with it a couple of new weapons, deadly traps to watch out for, and best of all, three new levels to explore.

It will set you back $9/€9 on Steam, and if you're looking to a get a sneak peek at some of the new maps and additions here's the recently posted trailer, though its unfortunately rather short:

The latest Mighty No. 9 trailer is certainly something

Mighty No. 9 screenshot from the beta version

What do you think the proper course of action is when you encounter so many issues during development that you have to delay the entire thing not once, not twice, but three times already?

If the answer was to create a trailer that somehow makes the already unfavorable public perception of your product go even further in the negative direction by making some rather... colorful remarks about its fan base then you would be absolutely correct, because the people behind Mighty No. 9's marketing did exactly that! Here's the recently posted Masterclass trailer, I hope you like memes:

Prey 2 may be in the works, rumors point towards an E3 announcement

The original Prey was certainly an enjoyable game, and even though it didn't push many boundaries it still ended up making a rather large mark on the FPS landscape, so much so that the sequel announcement was met with overwhelming excitement from all sides.

Unfortunately, after years in development hell and numerous rumors of cancellation circulating around Bethesda finally decided to pull the plug in 2014, and that was the last anyone heard from Prey 2... until recently. According to the Prey fan site AlienNoire the sequel is going to be announced during this year's E3 presentation on June 12.

Goat Simulator is reaching for the stars with its newest expansion - Waste of Space

Goat Simulator allows you to pilot your own spaceship... as a goat!

[Update]: It took a while, but Goat Simulator 3 has now landed onto PC and consoles with a bigger, bolder and even stupider world to mess around in.

Goat Simulator has never been a game that took itself very seriously, so you can imagine how bizarre the upcoming Waste of Space expansion is going to be given that the trailer makes the base game look completely reasonable by comparison.

There's references to Mass Effect, No Man's Sky, Star Wars, Star Trek, Alien(s), Portal, Kickstarter, and all of it is narrated by someone who only recently heard of Arnold Schwarzenegger. I'm sure there's a whole bunch of other references that flew past my head, so take a look at the trailer and see how well you do:

Rocket League now supports cross-network play between the PC and Xbox One

Rocket League pimped out demon car

As promised back in March, Rocket League has now enabled cross-network play between the Xbox One and Steam PC versions, thus making it the very first Xbox One game to do so.

This should come as a massive boost to the playerbase as the already sizable amount of people on the PC version will be joined by nearly 2 million Xbox One players. If this is something you don't desire, however, you have the option to disable cross-network play from within the options menu.

The latest Witcher 3: Blood and Wine trailer shows off some old... friends

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine features some lovely graphics

Blood and Wine will be the second, and unfortunately final major expansion for The Witcher 3, and if that wasn't bad enough its also set to be the last journey Geralt of Rivia will accompany us on before he goes on a well deserved vacation.

The good news, however, is that from all of the trailers, previews, and screenshots released so far it seems to be an adventure worthy of a famed monster slayer! The same applies to the recently posted trailer, which for some reason is called the "launch trailer" even though the release date is set for next week. Pointless nitpicking aside, here's the rather intriguing trailer with a... peculiar choice in music:

The latest Total War: Warhammer patch seems to have fixed most of the crashes

Total War: Warhammer Empire of man

Total War: Warhammer, despite in my humble opinion being pretty darn good, released with the classic Total War issue of endless crashes for certain configurations. Players who encountered this bug simply couldn't get past the introductory screen, and as such many on Steam have resorted to calling it the "Sega" bug since that's the last image you would ever see before the game goes down.

The good news is that the development team has been rather busy today and as such the majority of the crashes should be fixed with the most recent patch. If you're still having issues its recommended that you upgrade your graphics driver to the latest version, and as an extra measure, verify the game cache on Steam.
