Hearthstone's Journey to Un'Goro expansion has arrived with a free new Rogue hero

Maiev Shadowsong Rogue hero from Hearthstone

After what feels like an eternity of teasers and previews Hearthstone's Journey to Un'Goro expansion has now finally arrived. And yes, this does include the EU region as well given that JTUG (we seriously need a better acronym) released some 30 minutes ago!

The Journey to Un'Goro expansion brings with it 135 new cards, including a new Elemental tribe, a new keyword by the name of Adapt, and Quests as the very first Legendary spells. I have no idea if these cards are going to end up being balanced, especially since the Mage Quest literally gives you a second turn, but they are at the very least creative and not just 'here's an infinitely growing pile of stats.' If you would like to check all of the new cards out I would recommend heading over to Hearthpwn since Blizzard's official list is sorely lacking.

The upcoming Stellaris: Utopia will be the first major expansion for Paradox's space-faring 4X strategy game. It will bring with it megastructures such as the Dyson Sphere or Ringworld, Habitat Stations that help you house more population even in smaller empires, Traditions that allow you to expand and improve your empire via special perks, and the list goes on for quite a while.

If you're interested in a short but still detailed overview of all these features and their effects on the gameplay you'll find the recently posted "Feature Breakdown" video down below. There is also a brief mention of the free update coming alongside the Utopia expansion, so if that's something that tickles your fancy make sure to stay to the very end of the video. Have a look:

Dishonored 2 screenshot of Emily

[Update]: Thanks to a partnership between Bethesda and GOG, the entire Dishonored series and the first two modern Wolfenstein games are now available DRM-free.

If you're a fan of sneaky-stabby games, but just aren't sure if Dishonored 2 is something you will enjoy, I am glad to say that I bring some good news! According to Bethesda's most recent announcement Dishonored 2 will be getting a free trial on all platforms starting from April 6th.

You will be able to play through the first three missions of the campaign as either Emily or Corvo, and with absolutely no time limits it should be more than enough to give you a good idea of what Dishonored 2 is all about. And best of all, one of the missions you'll be able to play is actually pretty damn awesome, so don't worry about this just being some sort of tutorial nonsense.

Batman: Arkham VR official logo and artwork

After being available on PlayStation VR for quite a while now, Batman: Arkham VR is finally coming to the PC as well. You will be able to grab it on both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive starting from April 25th, though it doesn't appear the PC version will be getting any exclusive features or improvements.

If you're wondering what stepping into the batsuit might look like in first person you'll find the recently posted teaser trailer down below. There's unfortunately very little long-form footage in the trailer, but it should still give you a good idea of what to expect from a visual standpoint. But enough babbling from me, here's the video:

Syberia 3 official promo artwork

[Update]: Syberia: The World Before, the final game in the series Benoît Sokal worked on himself, is coming to PC on March 18th, 2022.

Syberia 3 is an upcoming story-focused 3D adventure game set in a deep and mysterious universe. It is coming more than thirteen years after its predecessor Syberia 2, but worry not as it will tell a completely different tale than the previous two games. Prior knowledge is definitely going to be helpful, but it will not be mandatory in your enjoyment of the story.

And speaking of which, if you're interested in seeing what Syberia 3 has to offer in terms of lore and storytelling you'll find the recently posted trailer down below. There are some potentially minor spoilers in there, but unless you really want to have a pure playthrough I think you'll be just fine. Here's the video:

Overwatch devs are teasing some sort of big event on April 11th, potentially even new skins

The April 11th teaser for Overwatch

A mere two weeks have passed since Orisa arrived to Overwatch, and already the developers are cooking up some sort of new event. The details are still a bit shaky, but according to the official Twitter account there is going to be something big happening on April 11th, and it appears to be related to skins!

And before you ask, no, this will not be an Easter themed event. Blizzard has stated numerous times now that they won't be covering every major holiday, and they specifically pointed towards Valentine's Day and Easter as the ones they will be skipping for sure. What's more interesting than that, however, is the reason why. Instead of doing silly skins related to real-life holiday, their plan this year is to introduce numerous lore-based events with their own themed skins. So could April 11th be one such event?

Snake Pass Review - Who knew being a snake could be this much fun?

Snake Pass screenshot of Noodle being an adorable little snake

On first glance you might think that Snake Pass is a colorful and charming 3D platformer, and you would be completely right, but beneath that veneer of kindness lies a deep hunger that can only be sated by the tears of countless players. Since there is no jump button, and since most collectibles are perched over humongous drops or pits of lava, you will need to master the controls and become one with the snake inside if you wish to last long. This process will most likely take you a while, but once it finally clicks you might just find that being a snake is far more complex and enjoyable than you could've ever imagined.

So if you're wondering whether Snake Pass is the type of platformer you might enjoy, and whether its gameplay mechanics are more than a simple gimmick, allow me to share my thoughts on what I've experienced throughout my journey to collect every single deviously hidden coin. And believe me when I say, collecting these things was quite the journey!
