Overwatch devs will soon be fixing Genji's sword and slightly tweaking Assault (2CP) maps

The recent Uprising Update brought with it a whole bunch of great content, but unfortunately also a couple of bugs and issues. Up until a couple of days ago Mei's primary attack and ultimate applied no slow, meaning it was incredibly easy to escape her clutches, even if you were walled off from the entirety of your team. On a similar note, Genji's ultimate became a lot messier after the update as it started randomly slowing down mid-swing, which as you might imagine is not exactly ideal in the middle of a fight.

Mei's bug has thankfully already been fixed, and according to a recent developer post it appears that Genji's sword will be getting the same treatment in the near future as well. As it turns out, it wasn't a bug that made Genji's sword swings slower, but rather a bug fix that prevented players with high latency from swinging more often. In reality this latency threshold was so low that the vast majority of players benefited from the bug, which is why the suddenly slower sword felt so weird and inconsistent. But worry not, the developers will be buffing Genji's swing speed so that everyone will be able to do 7 full swings, regardless of latency! Here's the official explanation:

Saints Row 2 official artwork and logo

If you're like me and you completely skipped over the first two Saints Row games in favor of Saints Row 3 and 4, you now have a chance to see what exactly you missed. What I mean by this is that Saints Row 2 is free for a limited time on both GOG and Steam. I'm not exactly certain how long the promotion is going to last, so make sure to grab your copy as soon as possible, even if you don't plan to install it any time soon.

Before you do that it is important to mention that Saints Row 2 is not as ridiculously over-the-top as Saints Row 3 and 4, so if you're looking to beat people up with a giant inflatable dildo I'm afraid you're going to end up being disappointed. Here's one of the trailers to hopefully give you an idea of what sort of game Saints Row 2 really is:

Yooka-Laylee official artwork

Yooka-Laylee is the long-awaited spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, but is it an enjoyable game in its own right or a mere copycat trying to coast along on nostalgia alone? Well, that's not exactly an easy question to answer.

While Yooka-Laylee might not be as bad as some reviews would lead you to believe, it does suffer from a significant number of problems that will impact your enjoyment the further along you go. So before you crack open your wallet I would recommend checking out my brief gameplay video covering the introduction and first 20 minutes. Its not much, but it should give you an idea of what Yooka-Laylee is all about. Have a look:

Total War: Warhammer has now arrived on Mac

Archaon the Everchosen from Total War: Warhammer

After being available on Linux for a couple of months now, Total War: Warhammer has finally made its way to Mac as well. As with pretty much every game on Steam, if you own Total War: Warhammer you will have free access to both the Linux and Mac versions alongside the PC one. In other words, you don't have to buy an extra copy for each platform!

Much like the Linux version, the Mac port of Total War: Warhammer has not been made by Creative Assembly themselves, but rather by Feral Interactive. You might know them from the Mac and Linux ports of XCOM 2, Tomb Raider, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Hitman, Mad Max, and the list goes on. Their ports have pretty much always been rock solid, and while I haven't tested the Mac version myself I have no doubts that its going to be perfectly playable, especially when you consider how long they took to actually create it.

Today's Overwatch update has fixed Mei's freeze and corrected a variety of glitches

Overwatch Mei freezing a poor little Roadhog

The most recent Uprising Update has added a whole bunch of new content to toy around with, but unfortunately a couple of devastating bugs as well. Genji's sword swings can occasionally become much slower which makes chaining kills nearly impossible, while Mei's primary fire and ultimate arrived without the ability to actually slow down enemies, which as you can imagine made Mei pretty much useless.

While Genji still remains bugged, as you'll see in this incredibly frustrating clip, Mei has thankfully been fixed and is now once more capable of performing her job! As for the rest of the update, since the patch notes are fairly small here they are in full:

Dawn of War 3's Eldar Farseer

Dawn of War 3 is set to arrive this April 27th, bringing with it a massive battle between the Space Marines, Orks, and Eldar. And if you still have no idea which faction you want to pledge allegiance to, you might want to check out the recently posted intro cutscenes.

They aren't terribly exciting or rich in storytelling, but they should at least give you an idea of why each faction is willing to throw hordes upon hordes of their finest warriors straight into the grinder. Well, except for the Orks anyway, they're here to do exactly that! Here are the videos:

Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition official promo art and logo

[Update]: After remastering many classic RPGs, Beamdog has now launched a dungeon crawler of their own - Mythforce.

If you ever wanted to get into oldschool PC RPGs and see why fans constantly rave about them, you're in luck as Beamdog has just recently released a remastered version of arguably the very best one - Planescape: Torment. The Enhanced Edition brings with it support for modern resolutions, numerous quality of life changes and bug fixes, a bunch of new dialogue written by Chris Avellone himself, better music quality, and the list goes on. Long story short, its the same RPG you might remember from your childhood, just slightly spruced up.

You can check out what the Enhanced Edition looks like through the recently posted launch trailer which I'll embed right below. The video unfortunately doesn't feature as much actual gameplay as you would expect, but it should still give you a good idea of what you're getting into. Have a look:
