Total War: Warhammer 2 devs have detailed their vision and plans for the sequel

Ten days ago Creative Assembly announced Total War: Warhammer 2, a rather hefty sequel/expansion set in the "New World". It will bring with it four new races to toy around with (High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, and most likely Skaven), unique gameplay and campaign mechanics for each one, as well as the ability to link Total War: Warhammer and its sequel together into one giant world!

The announcement didn't bring with it much in terms of concrete details, but worry not as the developers have recently posted a video detailing their vision and plans for Total War: Warhammer 2. So if you're interested in seeing how the new races are shaping up, as well as what you can expect from the sequel, you'll find the video right below:

P.A.M.E.L.A. Gameplay Showcase - First ~20 minutes [No Commentary]

P.A.M.E.L.A. official artwork and logo

P.A.M.E.L.A. is an open-world survival-horror game set in the once utopian city of Eden, now nothing more than a breeding ground for otherworldly monstrosities. As you might expect given its genre P.A.M.E.L.A. features plenty of exploration and passive storytelling, resource management, and tense situations where combat might not always be the best option.

If you're wondering what this might look like in gameplay terms, wonder no more as I've created a brief gameplay video going over pretty much everything P.A.M.E.L.A. has to offer: stealth, exploration, combat, and good ol' fashioned looting. Anyway, here's the video:

Blackwatch skin for Overwatch's favorite ninja Genji

As is tradition with Blizzard at this point, the contents of the upcoming Overwatch update have been leaked. Once it finally arrives (most likely tomorrow) the Insurrection update will bring with it a new PvE mode to mess around with, as well as a whole bunch of oldschool Overwatch skins... and yes, this does include the awesome Blackwatch Genji!

If you're interested in a few glimpses of the PvE mode, as well as some of the skins in action, you'll find the recently leaked video down below. It is entirely in French so chances are you won't understand a single word, but most of it is pretty self-explanatory so I wouldn't worry too much. Have a look:

Yooka-Laylee Review - Could it be a worthy successor to Banjo-Kazooie?

Yooka-Laylee official promo artwork

Yooka-Laylee might just be the most realistic game I've ever played in my life. Its not the visuals or the movement that make me say this, but rather the simple fact that the camera perfectly recreates the feeling of being an iguana with a bat stuck on its head!

Despite this fairly massive setback Yooka-Laylee does manage to brush up against greatness every now and then, but the question remains, is it a worthy successor to Banjo-Kazooie and a collecathon you can really sink your teeth into? Well, that's not exactly an easy question to answer, as you'll soon realize.

If you're up for some 50 vs 50 semi-realistic FPS action you might want to check out Squad. Its completely free to play to play on Steam for the next two days, so if you have even an inkling of interest now would be the best time to give it a try due the influx of both new and old players alike.

For those of you that need a bit more convincing before jumping in, here's the fairly old but still relevant "Introduction to Squad" video. The trailer might be a bit over-dramatic, but it should still give you a good idea of what you're getting into. Anyway, have a look:

Hearthstone devs have confirmed that Journey to Un'Goro card packs are working properly

Hearthstone's Journey to Un'Goro artwork

Hearthstone's Journey to Un'Goro expansion launched yesterday, bringing with it 135 new and exciting cards to collect. Or at least that was the idea, because the moment the expansion launched the Hearthstone forums and subreddit got swarmed with complaints about faulty card distribution. While this didn't affect me and my measly 30 packs, many people ended up with a lot of duplicates of the same cards, occasionally even getting the same few Legendary cards over and over again.

As you might expect the situation instantly spiraled out of the control, so much so that Blizzard has now come out to officially confirm that Journey to Un'Goro card packs are working perfectly fine. In other words, I'm afraid you've just been unlucky. Here's the full quote from Blizzard's Community Manager Daxxarri:

Overwatch's Uprising comic tells the story of Tracer's very first mission

Overwatch Uprising comic screenshot showing Genji and Tracer fighting

A few days ago Blizzard released a teaser for a big event coming on April 11th. The announcement didn't bring with it any details, but just from the image alone it was obvious that there is some sort of Omnic-related crisis happening in London, or rather on the King's Row map.

If you need some further proof look no further than the newly released and surprisngly well animated Uprising comic. It not only tells the story of Tracer's very first mission and the massive crisis in London, but it also gives some much needed characterization to the oldschool Overwatch cast. So if you have even a glimmer of interest in Overwatch and its lore I would fully recommend you give the comic a read. Oh, and if you have any issues with the animated version you can find the regular one here.
