Fallout 4 is a bit of a controversial game. Some people absolutely love it, while other people love to absolutely hate on it, which has made doing any sort of research on it a bit of a pointless task. Thankfully, Bethesda has just now announced a free weekend, so if you ever wanted to know whether Fallout 4 is something you might enjoy, you now have a chance to do just that!

All of the base content in Fallout 4 (including mods) will be completely free to try out from May 25 to 28 on both PC and Xbox. If you're wondering about the exact times, the free weekend will run from Thursday at 7pm CEST until Sunday at 10pm CEST. Once the promotion goes live you will be able to download Fallout 4 via Steam on PC, and somewhere on Xbox Live Gold for those of you on consoles.

Season 4 of Overwatch Competitive Play is going to end in 3 days, and Season 5 begin very shortly after

Overwatch has recently been updated with a whole bunch of new Legendary skins and dance emotes for all heroes, which has somewhat overshadowed the fact that Season 4 of Competitive Play is nearing its end. As of right now you only have 3 days and 7 hours to push towards your chosen rank as Season 4 is set to end on Sunday, May 28th at 5pm PT.

As for Season 5, you'll be very glad to hear that the break between the two seasons will not be as long this time around. Ironically, it might even be a little bit too short given that Season 5 of Competitive Play is set to begin on Wednesday, May 31st at 5pm PT. So if you haven't already done your placement matches, make sure to do so because those shiny, shiny golden weapons won't acquire themselves!

The latest Humble Bundle has arrived with great adventure games and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Most of the time Humble Bundle contains a bunch of games loosely tied by some sort of theme. This can be their genre, their developer, whether they are indie or AAA, or even the topics they cover, but this time around I must admit I'm a bit stumped. The recently released Humble "Game On" Bundle contains some great adventure games such as Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Grim Fandango Remastered, but also the explosion-fueled Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Worms: Clan Wars.

At the end of the day, however, the theme doesn't really matter. What does matter is that the games themselves are enjoyable to play, which is something this bundle manages to accomplish quite easily... well, as long as you're a fan of both adventure and action games. That said, if you're interested in the full list of games and the tier they appear in, here it is:

Steel Division: Normandy 44, a tactical RTS from the developers of Wargame, has now released on Steam

Steel Division: Normandy 44 is a tactical real-time strategy with a focus on absolutely massive multiplayer battles that can scale all the way up to 10-on-10. After going through a brief beta phase Steel Division: Normandy is now finally available on Steam, and I'm very glad to say that so far the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

But before we move on to what works and what doesn't, it would probably be wise for you to check out the recently posted launch trailer. It doesn't feature much in terms of actual gameplay, but it should at least give you an idea of what kind of a game Steel Division: Normandy really is. Have a look:

The 2D action-orientated MOBA Awesomenauts has now gone free-to-play

Awesomenauts released all the way back in the ancient times of 2012, and as with most other multiplayer games it slowly started losing its playerbase to newer and shinier games. However, in an effort to combat this decay and bring some fresh life into Awesomenauts the developers have just made it free-to-play on Steam! Simply head over to the Awesomenauts store page, click the download button, and you'll be playing in no time.

Much like the vast majority of free-to-play games Awesomenauts gives you access to all of the game modes and maps, but you will need to purchase each hero individually with either real money or in-game currency. If you don't care about such free-to-play nonsense and just want the complete game, you can also buy the "All Nauts Pack" for €25 which, as the name itself implies, gives you access to all of the Awesomenauts straight off the bat.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will be the first game in the series to make its way to PC

In celebration of the series' 20th anniversary Natsume has announced a brand new addition to their country life simulator/RPG series Harvest Moon. The appropriately named Light of Hope will also be the very first Harvest Moon game to appear on both the PC and Nintendo Switch.

The details are currently a bit shaky, but from what is available so far I can tell you that the adventure will begin with our main character washing ashore in a small town after a monsoon destroys their ship. What follows next is the standard Harvest Moon formula of befriending the locals, improving your farm and house (which is apparently going to be a lighthouse), and slowly but surely saving the town from ruin. Its a simple formula, but given that Harvest Moon has been going on for 20 years now I would say that its works pretty damn well!

The sandbox MMORPG Black Desert Online has now made its way to Steam

After being available for quite a while now the sandbox MMORPG Black Desert Online has finally made its way to Steam as well. If you're a pre-existing owner I'm afraid there is no simple way for you to start playing via Steam, but if you're a potential new player you'll be glad to hear that the Steam version is currently on a 40% discount, which brings the price down to €6.

Besides adding support for the Steam version, today's Black Desert update has also brought in a new class by the name of Striker. I think the name alone should give you a good idea of what the new class is proficient at, but if you need a bit of a helping hand you'll find the recently posted trailer down below. Have a look:
