Median XL 2017, the biggest full conversion mod for Diablo 2, has just received a massive update

Median XL is by far the biggest and most complex full conversion mod for Diablo 2, so big that its almost impossible to describe it in short. It features a whole bunch of new and challenging monsters to plough through, the items have been completely reworked in order to provide meaningful choices, each character has been rebalanced and bolstered with a whole new batch of interesting spells, there are several extremely difficult challenges with extremely awesome rewards sprinkled throughout the campaign, and the list goes on for quite a while.

And if that wasn't enough, the developers have just released a massive patch that more or less tinkers with the entire game. If you're interested in the full patch notes you can find them over at the Median XL website, but I would recommend grabbing a coffee before you start because you're going to be there for a while. If you're just interested in some of the general changes so you can get a feel of what exactly the mod does, here they are:

Darkest Dungeon's first expansion The Crimson Court is coming in June at a $10 price tag

Darkest Dungeon The Crimson Court official artwork

Darkest Dungeon is a great game, but even with mods included there is only so many times you can replay the same types of dungeons before you're simply done. As such, I am very glad to say that the developers have just announced that The Crimson Court, Darkest Dungeon's very first expansion, is set to arrive on June 19th at a rather low $10 price tag.

The Crimson Court will bring with it a new hero class, a new wandering boss, a new dungeon region with a full faction of new foes to square off against, a bunch of new bosses and ginormous maps to mess around with, and even permanent additions for your estate. The new content is definitely welcome, but I must admit I am most excited about the permanent buildings we can unlock. Darkest Dungeon is a challenging game by design, and that is something I can certainly appreciate, but I always felt like there needed to be some rewards for players that managed to achieve greatness, only to die shortly after. And if these permanent buildings end up being minor bonuses we can unlock by completing difficult challenges, then that is exactly what Darkest Dungeon needs to keep players coming back for more punishment.

If you're not sure what in the world Vanquish even is, you'll find the recently posted teaser trailer right below. Its not overly long, and it doesn't really go in-depth, but it should give you a damn good idea of what kind of a game Vanquish really is. Have a look:

CDPR has released brief introductory videos for all of Gwent's factions

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game artwork showing Ciri and Geralt

When it comes to card games with multiple classes or factions its important to know what sort of playstyle each of them represent. This not only helps you decide what sort of cards and decks you'll most likely enjoy playing with, but it also helps you gain a small edge over your opponents as you can somewhat predict what sort of strategy they're going for.

All of this usually comes with experience, but in order to speed things along for new players CDPR has just released introductory videos for all of Gwent's factions. They're all relatively short, but they do a good job of showcasing what each of the factions is all about. So if you'd like to learn a little bit more about Gwent, here they are in no particular order:

Grim Dawn's development process has not been easy, and that's putting things lightly. It was announced before Path of Exile and Diablo 3 were even specs on the horizon, yet has only managed to release quite some time after both of them. On the positive side, all of the wait ended up being worth it as Grim Dawn is not only a faithful successor to Titan Quest, but also an enjoyable game in its own right.

As such, I am more than happy to announce that Grim Dawn has now sold over one million copies on PC, as well as over 200k copies of the Crucible arena mode DLC! Here's what the developers had to say about their rather impressive milestone:

Titanfall 2 has a brand new teaser showcasing all of the stuff coming in with the Monarch's Reign Update

Titanfall 2's Monarch Titan charging forward

As announced a couple of days ago, Titanfall 2 will be getting a sizable update on May 30th. The aptly named Monarch's Reign Update will bring with it a remastered version of the Relic map from the original Titanfall, new cosmetics including the Tone and Ronin prime, a new execution move utilizing Cloak, a whole bunch of reworks for Crashsite to make it more pleasant to navigate, and most importantly of all, a new Titan by the name of Monarch!

The details are still a bit sketchy, but from what is known so far the Monarch will be focused on flexibility through survival and support options. In order to do this the Monarch features a unique Upgrade Core which allows it to improve its combat abilities during battle based on options set by the Pilot. Add to that the ability to draw power from enemy Titans in order to recharge its own shields, or even the shields of friendly Titans, and you've got yourself a rather interesting new addition to Titanfall 2!
