Quake Champions is an upcoming PC exclusive arena shooter designed to be as close to the FPS classics as possible. However, unlike the shooters of old Quake Champions will feature a variety of unique heroes, each with their own skills and abilities. But don't worry about any this messing up the balance because there will 'purist' games modes in both standard and ranked play, so if you don't like these RPG elements you can completely ignore them.

The signups for the Closed Beta have now finally begun, so if you want to give Quake Champions a try for yourself make sure to head over to the official website and put in your email address. The whole sign up process is about as simple as it gets, but do keep in mind that there is no guarantee you will get in as soon as the beta opens given how the keys are distributed at random.
