For Honor: Season 3 Grudge and Glory artwork and logo

In an effort to fix some of the rampant glitch abuse, as well as bring a much needed breath of fresh air into For Honor, Ubisoft has just now released Season 3. It has brought with it two new characters (Highlander and Gladiator), two new maps, a new Legendary tier of gear, new territories on the world map, a whole bunch of balance changes and gameplay tweaks, and the list goes on for quite a while.

Dauntless is an upcoming action-RPG that's all about hunting down gigantic monsters with equally gigantic weapons, carving said monsters up, and then using their spikiest body parts to create even more ridiculously impractical weaponry. Its quite obviously inspired by Monster Hunter, but the big question is, can it actually compete with the series that started the entire genre?

If you're interested in finding out the answer, you'll be glad to hear that the developers have recently given a bunch of people early access in order to show off what Dauntless is all about. So if you have a bit of free time, and you love watching bizarre dinosaurs get smacked around with giant hammers, you'll find the playlist right below. Have a look:

Total War: Warhammer's Throgg in battle

Norsca and its accompanying hordes of warp-twisted creatures arrived on PC last week alongside a massive free update. The Empire AI has been given the entire province of Reikland in order to ensure they actually reach the end-game, Chaos forces now replenish more quickly and are able to subjugate Norscans more easily, some of the underutilized Legendary Lords have received much needed buffs, and the list goes on for quite a while.

If you're on Mac or Linux and you're looking forward to trying out the demonic vikings, you'll be glad to hear that your version of Total War: Warhammer will receive the Norsca update on August 24th. This will also include the 30 new regiments of renown - powerful and unique units for the Beastmen, Bretonnia, Chaos Warriors, Norsca, and Wood Elves factions. Much like the PC version, all of these extra units will arrive free of charge.

After a rather lengthy period of silence Ubisoft recently announced that South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be coming to PC and consoles on October 17th. Despite what appears to be quite a long time spent in development hell, The Fractured But Whole is thankfully going to have a properly optimized PC port, as noted by recently revealed PC System Requirements.

However, instead of simply listing out the minimum and recommended configurations and calling it a day, Ubisoft has decided to take things a step further by explaining what sort of performance you'll be able to achieve with each set up. So if you're interested in seeing what it takes to run South Park: The Fractured But Whole you'll find the PC specs and recommended graphics cards right below. Have a look:

GOG is currently running a massive sale, and in order to a few more eyeballs pointed towards their website they have now started giving out free copies of Deadlight: Director's Cut. In the most basic terms, Deadlight is a 2D action-adventure with platforming elements and plenty of zombies to either clobber or sneak around.

I haven't played it myself, but if the user reviews are to be believed its a fairly mediocre action game with some rather lovely visuals and atmosphere. Given the amount of complaints I wouldn't recommend spending any money on it, but since its completely free it might be worth giving it a shot and seeing if there is any truth to the claims. The whole game appears to be relatively short, so you shouldn't lose much time either way.

Conan Exiles The Frozen North expansion artwork and logo

After giving everyone plenty of time to explore the scorching desert, Conan Exiles will soon be extending its borders deep into the savage north. Besides increasing the world map by more than 50%, The Frozen North free expansion will also add a variety of new and deadly enemies to square off against, hostile environments and weather to overcome, new crafting disciplines such as brewing, giant and extremely fluffy mammoths to hunt, and the list goes on for quite a while.

Since trying to explain all of this through words alone is a bit of an impossible task, the developers have recently posted a lengthy gameplay preview showcasing pretty much everything The Frozen North has to offer. So if you're interested in seeing what awaits Conan Exiles in the near future, or what the Xbox One version is going to look like, you'll find the video right below. Have a gander:

If you've managed to hold off from buying Fallout 4 you'll be glad to hear that the Game of the Year Edition has now been announced, and that it will be coming with all of the DLC. As expected, there will also be a variety of balance and gameplay chances, graphical improvements, mod support for both PC and consoles, as well as a variety of other tweaks and adjustments.

Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition will be available on September 26th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. While it does offer a significant discount on all of the DLC, the GOTY bundle will still set you back a rather sizable $60. On the positive side, if you're willing to wait a few more months you'll probably be able to get it a 50% discount, which is pretty damn good value for the amount of content on offer!
