Overwatch is getting Deathmatch servers and large buffs to Junkrat, Orisa, Widowmaker, and Roadhog

During the most recent Summer Games Update Blizzard announced that the next wave of changes will be hitting the PTR in the near future. As expected, the now released patch brought with it significant buffs to Junkrat and Roadhog, as well as some much needed changes to Widowmaker and Orisa. What wasn't expected at all, however, was the introduction of Deathmatch game modes!
In time-honored FPS tradition these modes are Free-for-All Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, with the rules being pretty much exactly what you might imagine. Since most of the current maps are not designed with 1v1 brawls in mind the Deathmatch game modes will take place in specifically chosen sections, as well as on a brand new map: Chateau Guillard! That's pretty much the long and short of it, but if you're looking for a few more details about the Deathmatch game modes you'll find the most recent Developer Update video right below:
Valve has announced a Dota 2 themed card game hybrid - Artifact

- in News
After securing themselves a place among the extremely popular FPS and MOBA genres, it was only a matter of time before Valve set their sights onto the next big thing - card games! As such, it really shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that during this year's The International Valve announced their brand new Dota 2 themed card game hybrid Artifact.
In standard Valve tradition the details are in incredibly short supply, but what I can tell you is that Artifact will attempt to emulate a standard Dota 2 match. In other words, there will be three game boards representing the different lanes, you will be able to control 5 unique heroes, purchase and equip item cards onto said Heroes, and perhaps most importantly, each hero will have all of the same abilities as their Dota counterpart. In order to earn gold you will need to beat up enemy heroes and creeps that spawn each turn, though how exactly all of that will work I'm afraid I don't know.
Sine Mora EX is a remastered version of the colorful yet difficult side-scrolling shoot 'em up Sine Mora

Sine Mora EX, as you might deduce from the title, is a new and improved version of the colorful shoot 'em up Sine Mora that launched back in 2012. The remastered version brings with it support for higher aspect ratios, English voiceovers with the ability to swap to the original Hungarian ones at will, local co-op for up to four players, three new versus modes, new challenge levels, and naturally, improved graphical fidelity.
As far as the gameplay is concerned, Sine Mora EX's defining feature is the ability to manipulate time in a variety of ways. So while you will still have to be skilled enough to dodge through an entire hailstorm of bullets, you will always be able to do something to get yourself out of trouble. While one of the most recent trailers doesn't showcase the time manipulation, it should still give you a good idea of what Sine Mora EX is all about. Without further delay, here's the video:
Norsca, Total War: Warhammer's faction full of demonic vikings and their pets, has now arrived

- in News
After multiple weeks of teasers and previews Total War: Warhammer's long-awaited demonic vikings have now finally arrived. If you preorder or purchase Total War: Warhammer 2 within the first week of launch you will be given Norsca for free, though it can also be bought as a standalone DLC. For those of you that don't feel like spending any money, worry not as Norsca will still be a part of multiplayer and the Grand Campaign, so you'll have plenty of chances to secure yourself a genuine mammoth hide rug!
Besides the paid DLC, this update has also brought with it an absolutely gigantic list of changes, addressing pretty much all of the community complaints. For example, the Empire AI will now start with the entire Reikland province which should ensure they actually reach the end-game and become a faction as powerful as they are in the lore. Furthermore, Chaos will now replenish their forces more quickly and will be able to subjugate Norscans more easily, which should make their campaign less about constant waiting and more about constant bloodshed - just as the blood god demands it!

Three new XCOM 2: War of the Chosen enemy types have been revealed
- By Ash
- in News
XCOM 2's War of the Chosen expansion is planning to greatly improve upon the original, while also adding a bunch of new storylines to explore, factions to befriend, and enemies to casually obliterate. Last week the developers introduced the zombie-like hordes of The Lost, while this time around we're getting a sneak peek at three new elite Advent units.
The first of these new units is designed specifically to combat The Lost through the use of a powerful flamethrower that can set a large area ablaze. As you might imagine, the Purifier's flamethrower is equally as deadly to your own squad as it is to The Lost, so you'll need to make sure you maintain a range advantage. The Purifier does also have a couple of incendiary grenades to compensate for this weaknesses, but nullifying those is much easier than avoiding a constant spray of flame directly in your face.

On August 10th Total War: Warhammer will be getting the long-awaited Norsca DLC, as well as an accompanying update that fixes many of the issues found throughout the Old World. Norsca itself will be given for free to everyone who pre-orders or purchases Total War: Warhammer 2 within the first week of launch, though it will also be available as a standalone purchase. If you don't feel like buying the DLC, worry not as Norsca will be present in both the singleplayer campaign and multiplayer, so you'll still be able to make a cozy mammoth rug out of them.
As for the free update, its pretty much everything the community has been asking for these past few months. The Empire AI will now start with the entire Reikland province which should ensure they actually reach the end-game, Chaos now replenishes their forces more quickly and is able to subjugate Norscans more easily, and the Wood Elves are getting some rather interesting followers that come with massive pros and equally massive cons.
