Monster Hunter: World has 14 new gameplay videos showing off the various weapons and combos
- By Ash
- in News
The focus in Monster Hunter has always been squarely placed on the combat, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that the most recent gameplay videos for Monster Hunter: World are all about the weaponry. What might come as a surprise, however, is that the developers have released 14 videos in total, each one detailing a different weapon and gameplay style!
Thankfully they have shown mercy to us poor viewers and have eventually condensed all of those videos into three different categories: Light Weapons, Heavy Weapons, and Technical Weapons. So if you're interested in finding out what sort of weapon you'll 'main' in Monster Hunter: World, all three of the compilation videos await you right below. Have a look:
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is free to try out on Steam for the next two days

- in News
To say that the PC version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been met with mixed reviews would be one hell of an understatement. Despite launching back in November it still suffers from numerous performance issues across a variety of hardware, and it doesn't appear like any of that is going to be getting fixed any time soon. A real shame since apparently the multiplayer is quite enjoyable, if you're a fan of the genre anyway.
Given the circumstances, I am glad to say that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is going to be free to try out for the next two days on Steam. This way you'll be able to find out whether the performance issues are as bad as people say, and whether the multiplayer gameplay is as enjoyable as the previous games, all without having to shell out €60 beforehand!
Doomfist has now arrived to Overwatch alongside some very welcome balance changes
- By Ash
- in News
After what feels like an entirety on the PTR, Doomfist has now finally made its way to Overwatch's live servers. He is quite a bit weaker than his initial incarnation, but worry not as he is more than capable of absolutely annihilating anyone that's dumb enough to stand in his way. Doing so is not going to be easy, however, so be prepared for a bit of a learning curve when it comes to mastering Doomfist.
Unlike the previous heroes Doomfist has arrived alongside a surprisingly awesome action-trailer, so if you're interested in seeing what he's capable of I would fully recommend you check the video out. Have a look:
Heroes of the Storm devs have released a spotlight video for the upcoming Garrosh Hellscream
- By Ash
- in News
When Blizzard originally announced Garrosh Hellscream as the next Heroes of the Storm character I envisioned him as a bloodthirsty brute, constantly on the offensive and never backing down no matter how dire things may appear. The Garrosh Hellscream we'll be getting, however, is much different... and sadly, much more boring.
If you're wondering what exactly I'm blabbering about, allow me to share with you the recently posted spotlight video. It'll give you a pretty good idea of what Garrosh is capable of and why I consider him to be so bland despite his World of Warcraft variant being quite flavorful. Have a look:
Mafia 3's third and final piece of story DLC Sign of the Times has now arrived
- By Ash
- in News
Mafia 3 has just recently been updated with its third and final piece of DLC - Sign of the Times. The DLC story is focused on a deranged and rather violent group of cultists called The Ensanglante, whose only goal seems to be to restore purity and order to New Bordeaux through a series of extremely gruesome rituals. As you might expect you will need to figure out how exactly the cult operates, why they have such a fanatical following, and most importantly, how you can stop them.
If you're interested in seeing what all of this might look like in-game, you should check out the newly posted launch trailer down below. Its not very long, but it does a good job of setting up the atmosphere:
The final LawBreakers Open Beta will be starting up tomorrow, July 28th
- By Ash
- in News
LawBreakers is a fast-paced arena shooter with an extremely casual relationship with physics and common sense. What this means in gameplay terms is that LawBreakers has some unique movement mechanics that allow you to zip around the battlefield at high speeds, as well as a variety of weapons to splatter other people as they attempt to do the same to you.
If this sounds like something you might enjoy, you should definitely check out the final Open Beta that will be starting up tomorrow. To be more specific, the Open Beta will begin this Friday at 7am PT / 10am ET / 4pm CEST / 12 AEST and end at the same time on Monday, July 31st. As you can plainly see the beta will not be up for a very long period of time, so if you're going to be diving in make sure to pre-load on Steam before the whole thing even begins.
Total War: Warhammer 2's latest video introduces the unsurprisingly brutal War Hydra
- By Ash

There are many races in the Warhammer universe that revel in death and destruction, but none are as twisted and as cruel as the Dark Elves. Unsurprisingly, their monstrous entourage shares exactly the same 'qualities', though perhaps with even more brutality thrown into the mix for good measure.
Out of all these beasts the War Hydra is perhaps the most popular one, and as such Creative Assembly has just released a brief teaser video to showcase what exactly its capable of. So if you're interested in seeing some High Elves get torn to shreds, you'll find the video right below. Have a look:
