Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an upcoming medieval open-world RPG that aims to be as realistic and faithful to the era as possible. What this means is that there will be no magic to cast or flame-spewing dragons to slay, just a massive civil war and a whole bunch of angry knights and peasants at both sides.

As you might expect from this type of RPG, our main character will come from humble origins and through some rather unfortunate events find himself deeply involved with the growing war. If you're looking for a few more details, or just wondering what all of this might look like in-game, you'll find what you seek in the recently posted "Born From Ashes" teaser trailer:

While the visuals are definitely pretty to look at, the facial animations are unfortunately all over the place. Some of the characters look like they've just been stirred from deep sleep, while others look pretty damn good, and since all of this changes from scene to scene it really makes the trailer appear a bit... odd. There is still quite a few months before release, so hopefully the developers will be able to fix all of the problems and avoid another Mass Effect: Andromeda situation.

Speaking of release dates, you can expect to see Kingdom Come: Deliverance on February 13th, 2018. If you would like to learn more, or just check out some of the other gameplay and story videos, you should head over to either the official website or Steam.
