Quake Champions is completely free to grab on Steam until June 18th

If you have an itch only oldschool Arena shooters can scratch, you should probably go visit a doctor, but before you do you also might want to check out Quake Champions as it's completely free to grab until June 18th. Simply head on over to Steam, click on that shiny green "Install Game" button, and you'll be gibbing enemies in no time.
Perhaps most importantly of all, if you log in before the June 18th deadline you will be able to keep playing even after the free weekend is over. From what I can figure out you'll still need to either purchase or grind out all of the additional characters, but as far as getting a taste of what Quake Champions has to offer, this free trial is most certainly a good start.
The Elder Scrolls VI has been announced, though it's still a ways off

Well, I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Bethesda has finally stopped re-releasing Skyrim in order to start working on The Elder Scrolls VI. The bad news, as you might guess from the title alone, is that it's currently very early in development and likely a few years off.
Right now there are absolutely no details to comb over, but what I can show you is the recently posted teaser trailer. I believe it shows off the region of Highrock, though given that my TES lore is a bit rusty you might want to take that with a few grains of salt. Either way, here's the rather lovely video:
Ori and the Will of the Wisps now has a lovely and rather atmospheric E3 gameplay trailer

[Update]: Ori and the Will of the Wisps has now been released for PC and Xbox One, and so far the reception has been pretty good!
While Ori and the Will of the Wisps is by no means a new announcement, you might be interested to hear that this lovely metroidvania will be coming to PC and Xbox One in 2019. As you'll see in the trailer down below, the gameplay appears to be a slightly improved version of the original's, though more interestingly, the already stunning visuals have somehow managed to become even better than before!
So if you're up for a bit of a sneak peek at what Ori and the Will of the Wisps has to offer, here's the most recent trailer as well as the one from last year's E3. Have a gander, they're both beyond lovely to look at:
Gears of War 5 has been announced alongside two rather fetching in-game trailers

Microsoft has gone all out with Gears of War announcements during this year's E3. Not only have they unveiled Gears of War 5 as a new mainline game, but they have also announced two spin-off games: Gears Pop, a mobile-only game, and Gears Tactics, a potentially quite interesting strategy game.
Very few details are available about the latter two, but what I can tell you about Gears of War 5 is that it will be the biggest Gears game created so far, while also being able to run in 4K resolution at a smooth 60 frames per second. Technical stuff aside, you might be more interested to hear that Gears of War 5 will have both online and local split-screen co-op for every game mode. Now that is a welcome feature!
Just Cause 4 has been announced with an excessively explosive in-game trailer

This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise given that its existence was leaked about a week ago, but Just Cause 4 has now been officially announced. There are currently very few details to comb over, but what you can expect to see is a fully customizable grappling hook, an improved wingsuit, some rather extreme weather conditions as noted in the trailer, and naturally, a whole bunch of completely unjustified chaos directed at everyone not-you shaped.
You can get a bit of a sneak peek at what Just Cause 4 is going to look like in-game through the recently posted and excessively explosive announcement trailer. It's not very long, but I'd say it's still well worth a look. Have a gander:
Tunic is a newly announced Zelda-like RPG starring an adorable little fox in a green tunic

Tunic is a newly announced action-RPG that will have you explore a massive world, delve through various lengthy dungeons, and naturally, fight a whole host of creatures along the way with your trusty sword and shield. While there are very few details currently available, the recently posted gameplay trailer seems to point towards Tunic being heavily inspired by the Zelda series - something that only becomes more apparent when you consider the name itself is an homage to Link's iconic tunic.
But enough babbling from me, I'm sure you're wondering what Tunic actually looks and plays like. Well, wonder no more as you'll find the E3 trailer right below! Have a peek:
Shadow of the Tomb Raider's gameplay trailer has arrived with some rather stunning visuals

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be coming this September 14th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, bringing with it a much more badass version of Lara. Perhaps more interestingly, we will be moving away from some fairly nondescript locations into quite literally the Mayan apocalypse, with all of the madness and lovely imagery such an event might bring.
If you're curious about what all of this looks like in gameplay terms, allow me to share with you the recently posted E3 trailer. It features a bit too many cuts for my liking, but it should still give you a good idea of what to expect from Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Have a look:
