If you ever wanted to give the Life is Strange series a try, now would be a very good time to do so! For the next two days both the original Life is Strange and its prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm are going to be on a deep discount on Steam, so if you're even remotely interested I would highly recommend you give them a shot.
For those of you that might not even know what Life is Strange is all about, allow me to share the original launch trailer. It's a little bit on the cheesy side, but I think it does a pretty good job of setting up the story and characters. Have a look:

[Update]: Doom Eternal's latest gameplay trailer highlights the new weapons and storylines.
While Doom 2016's multiplayer is a bit on the mediocre side, the singleplayer campaign is a perfect example of how to take an oldschool gameplay formula and recreate it for our modern world. With that in mind, I am very glad to say that Bethesda has recently announced Doom Eternal, a direct sequel to Doom 2016!
There aren't that many details available just yet, but you can expect to see a whole bunch of new weapons to use against a variety of new and classic demons, large maps to scour for pickups and secrets, and just as importantly, a brand new soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon. If you're interested in a small peek at what all of this might look like, you'll find the freshly posted E3 trailer right below. Have a look:

[Update #2]: Bethesda's space exploration game Starfield has now arrived alongside a massive amount of praise.
[Update]: Bethesda's Starfield and Arkane's Redfall have been pushed back to the first half of 2023.
In a bit of a surprise announcement, Bethesda has recently revealed that they are working on a major new game called Starfield. Absolutely no details have been given about the gameplay or story, but if earlier leaks are to be trusted then Starfield is going to be a classic Bethesda RPG with a space theme and the ability to visit various planets at will. Whether any of that is true or not, that still remains to be seen, but it's certainly the sort of game I can see Bethesda diving into.
If you're interested in seeing what sort of tone and visuals Bethesda is gunning for with Starfield, allow me to share with you the brief E3 teaser. Have a look, though don't expect to see any sort of gameplay:
The Elder Scrolls Online's E3 trailer celebrates four years of updates and adventures

Even though it launched with more bugs than the swamps of Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls Online has slowly but surely transformed itself into quite an enjoyable and successful MMORPG. In fact, ESO just recently received the major Summerset expansion, bringing with it a whole bunch of new content and storylines to explore. So if you ever wanted to give it a try, now would be a pretty darn good time to do so.
If you're curious about what exactly ESO has to offer, as well as what the newly added High Elf homeland of Summerset looks like, you should check out the latest E3 trailer. It's pretty much a celebration of everything ESO and its players have managed to accomplish over the course of the four years it has been active, so I'd say it's well worth a watch:
Prey's recent Mooncrash DLC has added a brand new new roguelike game mode

If you're a fan of Prey's combat system and you're eager to squeeze out a few more hours of enjoyment out of it, you might want to check out the newly released Mooncrash DLC as it offers just that. In the most basic sense, the Mooncrash DLC brings with it a new roguelike game mode that will semi-randomly create and populate a world for you to explore, loot, and hopefully escape.
At the beginning you will start with only one playable character, but as progress through the somewhat limited story you will be able to unlock five characters in total. As you might expect, you will have to escape the base with all five characters in other to win, but here's where things get tricky: the world is persistent! So in order to succeed you will not only have to play well, but you will also need to put in a bit of thought into your routes in order collect all of the important items and supplies.
The free-to-play Elder Scrolls: Blades has been announced for mobile, PC and consoles

While you wait for any sort of The Elder Scrolls VI news to finally arrive, you might want to check out newly announced Elder Scrolls: Blades. It's essentially a free-to-play RPG designed with mobile in mind, though it will be playable on pretty much anything, a tradition it has continued on from Skyrim.
Usually I wouldn't even comment on mobile games since the vast majority of them just don't seem that appealing, but the Elder Scrolls: Blades genuinely looks like a good bit of fun. Not something you'd play for long stretches of time, mind you, but much like Fallout Shelter I can see it being a convenient distraction every once in a while. My only real worry is how the microtransactions will be handled given that it's a free-to-play game, but I suppose we'll find out more as Elder Scrolls: Blades moves closer towards it's Fall release.
Warframe's The Sacrifice update has added Excalibur Umbra, a cinematic story quest, and an improved UI

After a bit of a wait, Warfarame's storyline has now finally moved forward with the addition of The Sacrifice chapter. As expected, in order to access the new chapter you will first need to complete The Second Dream, The War Within, Chains of Harrow and the Apostasy Prologue. None of these quests are terribly long, so don't feel discouraged if you still have to complete a couple of them before diving into The Sacrifice chapter.
Besides the new storyline, The Sacrifice update has also added Excalibur Umbra as a 'new' warframe to toy around with, new gear and customization options, and perhaps most importantly, the first part of the brand-new UI update. You can expect to see customizable UI themes, a revamped inventory system, updated vendor menus, new UI sounds, and a whole bunch of similar changes.
