[Update #2]: FromSoftware have now finally shared the minimum and recommended PC system specs for Elden Ring.

[Update]: Elden Ring's previews offer a closer look at the story, combat and mounted exploration.

Considering how little we've heard about Elden Ring ever since it was first revealed, I'm pretty sure you know exactly what's coming next - FromSoftware has just announced that Elden Ring has been delayed and will now be launching on February 25, 2022.

"Elden Ring will release on Feb 25, 2022, as the depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations," explains the brief developer update. "Thank you for your trust & patience. We look forward to seeing you experience the game in the Closed Network Test in Nov."

Speaking of the Network Test, that one will unfortunately only be available for PlayStation and Xbox players. It'll last from November 12-14 and will give players a chance to roam around with a pre-set character, engage in various multiplayer shenanigans, as well as test just how many people can pile onto the same server before everything topples down. If that sounds like a good time to you, make sure to sign up over at the Elden Ring website.

I'd love to tell you more, and especially show you a gameplay preview given that I'm quite curious myself, but I'm afraid this is it for the time being. Once we get more information I'll make sure to let you know, but for now you can learn a tiny bit more about Elden Ring over at Steam.
