Apex Legends' Season 9 will bring in yet another major Lifeline rework

[Update]: Apex Legends has detailed all of the additions and balance changes coming in with Season 9, and yes, this includes the Lifeline rework!
[Update]: The War Games update has now brought in five new limited-time events.
Ever since her original rework, Lifeline has been in a bit of a tricky spot when it comes to balance. She is nearly worthless in higher ranks because all of her abilities require the team to be at a major disadvantage in order to do anything, while in the lower ranks her ability to resurrect someone over and over again can feel nearly impossible to punish.
So in order to sort this little problem out, Apex Legends will be launching another Lifeline rework with the upcoming Season 9. While the exact details haven't been announced just yet, Respawn is looking to remove Lifeline's resurrection shield, and in return give her increased tactical healing speed, as well as make her ultimate give guaranteed upgrades.

[Update #2]: Deep Rock Galactic's massive mod support update has now been unleashed!
[Update]: Deep Rock Galactic has now added elite enemies, a ton of balance changes, and improved gunplay.
Continuing with the excellent support they have provided so far, the Deep Rock Galactic team have just announced the next major update, humbly titled Modest Expectations. This one will bring with it greatly improved mod support and the ability to filter modded content in-game, as well as the long-awaited weapon rebalance that will hopefully make some of the underpowered weapons feel fun and exciting to use again.
In order to provide a target-rich environment for testing all of these weapon changes, the Modest Expectations update will also be adding elite enemies. These variants are tougher, faster and more dangerous, and will randomly appear on Hazard Level 2 and above. How exactly all of this will translate into actual gameplay, however, that still remains to be seen.

[Update]: Borderlands devs are working on a more RPG focused spin-off - Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
After taking a bit longer to release than expected, Borderlands 3's newest Director's Cut DLC has now been unleashed. It brings with it a series of short new quests centered around Ava and her 'Mysteriouslier' podcast, a massive new raid boss, a whole bunch of new themed loot and cosmetics, and as you might guess from the name alone, a collection of behind-the-scenes material from Borderlands 3's development.
You can get a pretty good idea of what all of this looks like in actual gameplay through the recently posted launch trailer. Have a gander, it's a rather brief one:

[Update]: Mr. X Nightmare DLC has now arrived and so far it's looking like it's quality stuff!
In order to spice things up, Streets of Rage 4 developer Lizardcube has now announced the very first piece of DLC - Mr. X Nightmare. Once it arrives later this year Mr. X Nightmare will bring with it brand new characters (including Stage 4 boss Estel Aguirre), a new survival-focused game mode, an assortment of new weapons and moves to help customize your playstyle, and naturally, a whole bunch of new music to jam out to.
Best of all, the Mr. X Nightmare DLC will be accompanied by a substantial free update. While the details are still few and far between, you can expect to see new character palettes, a training and tutorial mode, a new Mania+ difficulty level as a nice challenge for veterans, and as is tradition, a whole host of gameplay and balance tweaks.
Dota 2 Update 7.29 has brought in a new hero called Dawnbreaker and major map changes

[Update]: Dota 2's next hero will be Marci - the adorable, mute fighter from the Dota: Dragon's Blood animated series.
It has only been a little while since the last major Dota 2 update, and already a brand new one has gone live. However, this time around the focus is not on getting new players up to speed, but rather on giving veterans some fun new toys to play around with.
First and foremost, Update 7.29 has brought with it Dawnbreaker - a highly durable melee hero with a great deal of damage potential. Her first ability is a short-ranged series of hammer blows that ends with a stun, which pairs nicely with her passive that provides her with bonus damage and aoe healing after every three strikes.

[Update]: Turbo Overkill's Version 1.0 has now arrived, and as I've detailed throughout my review, it's a ton of fun!
If you've been enjoying the recent 'boomer shooter' renaissance, you'll be delighted to hear a brand new challenger has just entered the arena. The appropriately titled Turbo Overkill is an upcoming retro cyberpunk shooter with a focus on fast movement, cleaving through hordes of enemies with oversized weaponry, and as is tradition, ridiculously over-the-top violence. Oh, and your leg also doubles as a chainsaw, because why not!
Since words alone are woefully inadequate when it comes to describing these types of games, allow me to share with you the recent gameplay trailer. It should clue you in quite quickly on just what Turbo Overkill is all about. Have a look:
