[Update]: The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero has now landed onto PC and consoles, and I'm happy to say the new version is a massive improvement!

If you're a fan of the long-running Trails series and wish to explore as many stories set in its universe as possible, I have some pretty good news to deliver! After well over a decade of waiting, the PlayStation Portable exclusive The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is finally getting an English version this Fall!

While the exact release date has not been set just yet, you can expect to see Trails from Zero land onto PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Similarly, there is currently no gameplay preview showing off the new version, but you can at least get a little sneak peek at it through the announcement trailer. Have a look:

The good news doesn't end there, however, as its direct sequel and the culmination of the "Crossbell" arc - The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure - is also getting the same treatment. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a bit longer for that one as Trails to Azure will only be launching at some point in 2023.

Once we get any concrete details on either game, ideally alongside a gameplay trailer, I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, you can read a little bit more about Trails from Zero, as well as keep an eye on any developer updates, over at the Trails website.
