The excellent VR adventure The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is getting a big new sequel

When it comes to video game adaptations, The Walking Dead has been all over the place in terms of quality. Some of the games have been absolutely amazing and have done the series justice, while others were little more than poorly thought out cash grabs.
The 2022 VR action-adventure The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners falls firmly within that first category, because not only did it make good use out of The Walking Dead world, but it was also a remarkably fun VR experience in its own right. As such, I'm quite pleased to say that it's getting a sequel with a somehow even longer name - The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution!
La-Mulana 2's very first DLC has now added some of the most challenging puzzles in the whole series
- By Ash
- in Indie Games
Much like the original, La-Mulana 2 is a deviously challenging puzzle-exploration game that doesn't hold your hand in any way. As such, an average playthrough is going to have you singlehandedly dismantle complex puzzles, solve obscure riddles, and often spend considerable amounts of time trying to figure out if the strange wall in front of you is simply ornamental or some kind of mysterious clue you aren't fully comprehending!
If that kind of difficulty sounds like something you live for, you'll be happy to hear that La-Mulana 2 has just added its very first piece of DLC - The Tower of Oannes. The newly added map stands shoulder to shoulder with the Hell Temple in terms of difficulty, which as you might imagine given the name, means that you're in for quite a ride!
The Thing and Aliens inspired horror game Hidden Deep is launching into Early Access today

After going through a bit of an extended closed beta test, The Thing and Aliens inspired horror-action game Hidden Deep is now nearly ready for its big launch. That's not an exaggeration either, as Hidden Deep will be launching into Steam Early Access within the next hour or two!
Given its influences, it should come as little surprise that Hidden Deep will have you explore a cramped system of underground caverns that are filled to the brim with all sorts of nightmarish amalgamations. In order to survive you'll need to use specialized equipment like grappling hooks and terrain scanners, as well as slightly less subtle things heavy machinery and high-powered weaponry.

[Update]: The Pirate has now arrived, and unsurprisingly, being able to blow your opponents away in a fighting game is quite entertaining.
While it was expected that Ubisoft would announce a brand new For Honor hero this week, I don't think anyone could've predicted it would be the Pirate! So if you're in the mood for something a little bit out of the ordinary, mark January 27th on your calendar as that's when the Pirate will be arriving as a part of the new Outlanders faction.
What the Pirate looks like, as well as what she has to offer in terms of actual gameplay, that you can find out through the freshly posted teaser. Have a peek:
Overwatch's Year of the Tiger event has been pinned for a January 25th launch

[Update]: The Year of the Tiger event has now arrived, though sadly with even less content than usual.
In order to help tide everyone over until the upcoming experimental update arrives, Blizzard will be releasing the annual Lunar New Year update this January 25th. The Year of the Tiger will bring with it an assortment of new and old cosmetics to collect, the return of capture-the-flag, as well as weekly challenges that reward additional skins, sprays and icons.
No new character skin has been revealed just yet, but if you're curious about what sort of voice lines you'll hear over and over and over again throughout the next few weeks, you can get a bit of a preview over at Twitter. As for the end date, the Year of the Tiger event will run until February 15th.
Never Mourn is an upcoming action-roguelike where you get to play as a powerful necromancer

In an interesting little divergence from the usual action-RPG tropes, Never Mourn is an upcoming, fast-paced roguelike where you get to play as a necromancer. So not only do you need to worry about the usual stuff like dodging enemy attacks and striking when an opportunity presents itself, but also ponder which enemies you'd like to add to your side and when it would be convenient to do so!
Since this is a rather unique concept, allow me to me to share with you the freshly posted teaser trailer. It should give you a pretty good impression of just what Never Mourn is trying to accomplish:

[Update]: After many updates and over a year in Early Access, King Arthur: Knight's Tale has now been unleashed!
After spending about a year in Early Access, the dark fantasy turn-based RPG King Arthur: Knight's Tale is now nearly ready for launch. You can expect to see the PC version arrive on March 29, 2022, while the PlayStation and Xbox ports will be coming at a later date.
While the exact details are still few and far between, the launch version will bring with it the grand finale of the story campaign, as well as a variety of improvements to the endgame. There will also be numerous quality-of-life improvements and performance tweaks, changes to the recently added PvP mode, and all that kind of good stuff.
