With Total War: Warhammer finally arriving tomorrow at 8am BST Creative Assembly has decided to unleash their most impressive trailer yet, one that allows you to pan around the battlefield in any direction.
If you by any chance own Google Cardboard you can use that to view the trailer in 3D, but for the rest of us a mouse pointer will do just fine. Here's the trailer itself:

Paragon is Epic's latest FPS/MOBA hybrid, and even though its eventually going to be free to play the currently ongoing beta requires you to purchase a founder's pack before letting you in.
Since dropping money on a brand new MOBA you know nothing about isn't the smartest idea given the genre's track record, you'll be glad to hear that Paragon's free weekend will begin in only a couple of days.

Terraria is one of those games that everyone thought would simply fail, it 'clearly' being a Minecraft clone after all, but it managed to not only win the community over to its side relatively quickly, but also maintain that community over the course of years! Most of this is due to the somewhat infrequent, but still massive updates that always end up adding at least 20 hours worth of content for the average player.
As it so happens one such patch was released today, simply titled as Update 1.3.3, and it brought with it controller support, inventory sorting, a massive overhaul to the wiring system, greater support for custom/adventure maps, and a whole bunch of other changes.

With only one day left before the release of Overwatch Blizzard has decided to put the hype-train into overdrive and release the final animated short, for now anyway.
While the classic Blizzard animation quality is present within this one as well, its scope and overall themes are a lot less interesting than the previous ones, so adjust your expectations slightly. With that preamble done, enjoy the show:

Blood Money is the Hitman game that introduced me to the series, and as such will forever remain as one of my favorite games of all times, a title that is well deserved given how much depth and complexity there is to each mission. However, while it truly is an excellent game its also an incredibly clunky one with controls that are... representative of its age to put it simply.
If you share my view and would love nothing more than to see it improved upon I have some rather exciting news as IO Interactive recently said on Twitter that they "want to do it justice", though it would have to wait until the current Hitman is done. Here's the quote:

Even though Scott Cawthon, the main man behind the Five Nighty at Freddy's series, said multiple times now that it would all be over with FNaF 4 it seems that he still has plenty of stories to tell because Five Nights at Freddy's 5, or simply known as Sister Location, is set to arrive this Fall.
While there is very little gameplay information available right now there is a trailer filled with a whole menagerie of new animatronic abominations. Have a look, though don't stare too hard, they might get zesty if you do:

Back in March S2Games briefly teased their latest project, a supposed sequel to the rather awesome FPS / RTS hybrid Savage in which fearsome beast races clashed with the more technologically advanced humans.
As it turns out, however, the announcement wasn't for Savage 3 but rather for a remake of the original game, a fact that only came to light today when Savage Resurrection appeared on Steam without so much as a peep. If you're wondering what this new/old Savage is all about, here's a brief trailer to enlighten you:

The Witcher 3 has always been a rather colorful game, a fact one could easily notice by climbing onto Roach and simply taking a stroll through the countryside, but from what I can see the Blood and Wine expansion is taking things a step further.
There are fields littered with blooming red flowers, rolling green hills completely untouched by war, an endless sea of beautiful vineyards and equally beautiful maidens, but also hordes of bloodthirsty vampires because the universe has decided that Geralt should never have a moment's rest. Feast your eyes on the trailer below:

After the announcement of Windows 10 and Microsoft's push for a unified storefront and branding between their two gaming divisions many have started to wonder whether this means we'll get to see the modern Halo games make their way to PC.
While this is clearly not the real deal, the announcement of Forge - Halo 5: Guardians Edition for Windows 10 is exciting news indeed as this might mean that PC players will be able to enjoy custom Halo 5 maps and mods with improved graphics, increased resolution, and naturally, keyboard & mouse support.

[Update]: Good news! The Talos Principle 2 is heading to PC and consoles on November 2, 2023.
RockPaperShotgun recently reported on a rumor that they heard from a guy, who heard from another guy that Croteam is working on The Talos Principle 2... yeah, not the most credible of sources.
As it turns out, however, all of it was completely true and the Serious Sam developers Croteam are indeed working on a sequel for their philosophical puzzle game The Talos Principle, as confirmed by their official Twitter:
