World of Warcraft's Goblin delivering some patch notes

If you've spent your time PvPing throughout World of Warcraft: Legion, you're no doubt aware of how funky the reward system is right now. You can spend 20 minutes having a back-and-forth Battleground match, end up losing by a mere few points, only to have all of that effort rewarded with a majestic 7 gold. And then you queue into a Battleground that's nearly finished and you get an epic ring, because why not!

Thankfully, this isn't the Blizzard from Warlords of Draenor as they have listened to the complaints and are soon implementing a variety of changes. Once Patch 7.1 finally arrives on October 25th PvP will award more Artifact power, a guaranteed piece of gear from every battleground win, more Honor from daily wins, and best of all, a guaranteed piece of Gladiator gear each week!

Titanfall 2's main character and his Titan

All the way back in February Respawn Entertainment promised that Titanfall 2 will have a heavy emphasis on story and relatable characters, but I can't say I ever imagined I would be getting attached to a robot. However, after watching the latest single player campaign video, I must admit that BT is currently much more interesting to me than the protagonist himself!

If you don't believe me, just have a look at the most recent video yourself. It features a brief introduction to the story behind Titanfall 2, as well as the budding bromance between our two main characters: Jack Cooper, a militia rifleman who ended up in the right place at the wrong time, and BT-7274, a Vanguard class Titan who found himself without a pilot. Here's the video:

After quite a few mediocre PC ports of otherwise good games, I must say I'm quite happy to see not one, but two AAA games delayed due to concerns about quality! Ubisoft has recently delayed Watch Dogs 2 in order to make the PC version as good as it can possibly be, and apparently CI Games are doing the same with Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, though for all platforms.

As you can probably guess from the title alone, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will now be launching on April 4, 2017 for the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. If you're wondering why exactly this is happening, here's a brief quote from Marek Tymiński (CEO of CI Games) explaining the team's need for an extra few months:

A screenshot from the Civilization 6 cinematic trailer

The Civilization series has always had amazing launch trailers, and even to this very day I cannot watch them without getting goosebumps. If you think you are immune to such frivolous things, just have a look at one of the cinematic trailers for Civilization: Beyond Earth - it is a masterpiece of storytelling given how many emotions you'll go through while watching a 3 minute long video!

With such an impressive legacy behind it, the cinematic trailer for Civilization 6 had a lot to live up to. And while I would love to tell you its the best one yet, in my personal opinion its somewhere around the middle in terms of quality, though don't take that the wrong way - its still beyond impressive for what is essentially a trailer for a strategy game! But enough rambling from me, have a look for yourself:

While the title might bring with it a negative connotation, the truth of the matter is that Ubisoft is delaying the PC version of Watch Dogs 2 until November 29th in order to ensure its quality. But rather than simply offer up empty promises, Ubisoft also released a list of extra features the PC version of Watch Dogs 2 will be arriving with.

Before we get into all of that, it would probably be a good idea to show you what sort of a rig you'll need in order to actually run Watch Dogs 2 with some of these settings enabled. You'll find the minimum and recommended system requirements right below:

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide Ranger screenshot

For those of you that don't know, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is a four player co-op adventure in the vein of Left 4 Dead, though instead of zombies and mutated nasties you have to deal with an even bigger menace - the Skaven. While it does have a couple of annoying flaws, Vermintide is a truly excellent co-op game and one I've spent a good chunk of hours playing, so if you're a fan of L4D, give it a look.

The reason I'm telling you this now is because Vermintide just recently got updated with a brand new piece of free DLC - Quests & Contracts. As you would expect from the name alone, the update introduces a whole bunch of new ways to gather loot and temporary buffs, all with the intent of make your rat-slaying job even more fruitful. Here's a brief developer video explaining how the whole system works:

Overwatch D.Va screenshot

According to D.Va's lore she is a competitive Starcraft player with quite a few victories to her name, so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that she will be making her way into Starcraft 2. What might come as a surprise, however, is that she will be arriving as one of the seven announcers releasing with Patch 3.7!

So if you feel like your Starcraft 2 experience can only be improved by having a teenage Korean girl shout at you, then head over to the Blizzard website and check out what D.Va has to say. My favorite line so far is the Zerg #2 one: "You have a new Queen, shooooow me those skills!"

Red Dead Redemption 2 official artwork

After years of silence about their future projects Rockstar recently started tweeting out some rather cryptic, albeit quite exciting images. Much like the one you can see above, they were all red and obviously western themed, but at no point did Rockstart actually confirm what game they were from.

As you would expect from the Internet as a whole, wild theories and unconfirmed rumors quickly started to spread. The most interesting of which pointed towards a supposed leak from a couple of months ago as proof that this new game isn't Red Dead Redemption 2, but rather some sort of a prequel. The reality of the situation, however, is much simpler.

In a brand new tweet that came out just 30 minutes ago, Rockstar quite nonchalantly announced Red Dead Redemption 2. The full trailer, along with more details, will be released on October 20th, but until then here's pretty much everything there is to know about Red Dead Redemption 2:

Hearthstone's Heroic Tavern Brawl 12 win screenshot

From the very moment Hearthstone entered closed beta, a couple of years ago by this point, there was a large movement pushing for the introduction of an in-game tournament system. It didn't really matter how it was done, the only thing that mattered was giving people a chance to compete for some nifty prizes in a serious, almost-pro environment. Unfortunately, all those requests fell on deaf ears and even after multiple expansions and adventures we still don't have anything even remotely resembling a tournament system.

On the positive side, that previous statement is soon going to be a dirty, dirty lie as Blizzard has just announced the Heroic Brawl - a brand new Tavern Brawl that will offer you a chance to compete for some truly amazing prizes (which include 50 packs and 3 golden legendaries), though at a significant cost! If you're wondering how exactly all of this works, here's a brief developer video with Designers Dan Emmons and Pat Nagle (yes, the one and only Nat Pagle):

Skywind early alpha environment screenshot

For those of you that might not know, Skywind is an unofficial community mod that aims to recreate the entirety of TES: Morrowind within the much superior Skyrim engine. While these sort of projects usually fall apart the moment any actual work needs to be done, the team behind Skywind has been trucking along for a very, very long time - and the results are quite spectacular to behold!

With every subsequent update the once familiar grounds of Skyrim are becoming more and more alien, and the usually cheerful atmosphere is slowly giving way to the Morrowind's specific brand of gloom. In other words, Skywind is well on its way to actually accomplishing the task it set out to do! If you don't believe me, have a look at the recently posted October Progress Update video:
