This War of Mine Anniversary update official screenshot

In celebration of This War of Mine's two year anniversary, the developers have released a free Anniversary Edition Update/DLC for everyone to enjoy. There's new characters to interact with, new locations to explore and potentially lose those characters in, and most intriguingly, a brand new ending to discover!

If you're up for a brief sneak peek at some of the new additions, as well as an equally brief message from some of the fans, I would recommend you check out the recently posted video. You'll find it right below:

Sombra from Overwatch looking rather menacing

[Update]: Turns out I was correct, the update is now live!

The Overwatch test servers went offline earlier today, but they didn't go down with a bang as you would expect, but rather with a simple "boop" and then nothingness. This could mean absolutely nothing at all, but given that Tuesday is the day Blizzard does all of their patches it is a bit too much of a coincidence to simply ignore. In other words, I have a feeling we're going to be able to play Sombra later today!

So just in case this actually ends up being true, and not just the ramblings of a madman who's clearly looking too much into things, allow me to give you a brief summary of what to expect. Since Sombra is most definitely the highlight of this entire update, it would probably be wise to start with her abilities and tactics. Luckily for me, Blizzard has already managed to cover all of that through a brief preview video! Have a look:

Guardians of the Galaxy official artwork/wallpaper

Its been known for quite a while now that Telltale Games is working on Marvel themed adventure game, but the details were unfortunately just not there. Until recently the only thing we even knew about this project was that its slated to arrive at some point in 2017, which as you can imagine is not the most exciting of news.

However, ComicBookMovie.com recently noticed something rather interesting. As a part of a recent strike by the members of SAG-AFTRA (a union for voice actors), the union released a list of in-development or unannounced games that have not struck new deals. As you can probably guess from the title alone, one of those is Guardians of the Galaxy - The Video Game, listed under the same company that's working on Telltale's The Walking Dead: Season 3.

Battleborn's Toby's Friendship Raid official artwork

If you're among those that have stuck with Battleborn despite fierce competition from Blizzard's Overwatch, you'll be glad to hear that the second story DLC just recently arrived for all Season Pass holders. As is tradition with Battleborn, don't expect to find a deep and compelling narrative in Toby's Friendship Raid DLC, but if you're up for punching robots and spouting near-nonsensical one liners, then it might just be the one for you!

And just in case you don't believe me, allow me to show you the most recent trailer. It contains "lasers, lasers, lasers, and even more lasers", as well as a variety of jokes so cheesy they would probably taste quite nicely on a pizza! Anyway, have a look:

Dishonored 2's outsider screenshot

While Dishonored 2 is by all accounts a pretty damn good game, it unfortunately launched on PC with some rather troublesome technical problems. But crashes and infinite loading times aside, the biggest issue currently plaguing the PC version is the unstable performance which can occasionally drop the framerate down to a single digit. Not exactly the best way to experience Dishonored 2, I'm sure you'll agree.

Well, if you're among the unlucky ones affected by these issues I do bring some good news. In a recent blog post Arkane Studios announced that they are well aware of all the PC performance issues and that they are actively working on a fix. Since the whole message is rather brief, here's the full quote:

Echo Operator from Rainbow Six Siege

The Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Red Crow DLC is set to arrive next week, November 17 to be specific, to all Season Pass holders, while everyone else will get a chance to grab it a week later, on November 24. As for the DLC itself, it brings with it two new operators, Echo and Hibana, as well as a rather lovely Japanese styled map called Skyscraper.

While Ubisoft is holding back most of the information for their big reveal later today, they did recently post a couple of videos briefly teasing the two new operators and map. The emphasis there is unfortunately on 'briefly', but if you're curious about all of the new features its still worth having a look. Here you go:

Warframe's The War Within update official artwork

After being teased for so long that I've actually forgotten when Digital Extremes first mentioned it, Warframe's massive 'The War Within' update is now finally available on the PC! Its brings with it a brand new lore-driven cinematic quest, a whole host of new Grineer enemies, as well as a variety of new weapons and cosmetics to adorn your magical space ninjas with.

If you're interested in a closer look at some of these new weapons and enemies, you're in luck as DE has release a brief preview showcasing all of the major features coming in with 'The War Within'. Have a look:

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Ciri official artwork

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game entered closed beta a couple of weeks ago, and if you're among the majority that hasn't received their key just yet, worry not as I'm bringing some good news! According to a recent forum post, everyone who signed up for the closed beta in June will be getting their invite by the end of next week.

Naturally, this doesn't mean that the rest of you are out of luck as CDPR is planning to send out even more invites in the weeks that follow, so chances are you won't have to wait for too long in order to get your hands on Gwent. Since the whole announcement is rather brief, here's the full quote:

The Witcher 3's Ciri screenshot in Skellige

A couple of days ago a NeoGAF user by the name of boskee posted a translation of a document that called for an "extraordinary meeting of shareholders" in order to discuss how CD Projekt will resist unwelcome advances from larger companies. Even though there wasn't much information present in the announcement itself, it really did seem like CDPR was preparing its shareholders to defend against a hostile takeover.

Thankfully, it appears that the while the announcement may have been true, the threat of a hostile takeover was not. According to a statement from CD Projekt gave to WCCFTech, the proposal is not a reaction to any current events, but rather an insurance against some future hypothetical scenarios that may or may not ever arise. RollerCoaster Tycoon World screenshot showing a lovely park entrance

In a bit of a surprise announcement, Atari recently came out to state that RollerCoaster Tycoon World will be leaving Early Access on November 16. While that date alone isn't anything special, its significance lies in the simple fact that its the day before Planet Coaster's launch! It appears we're going to have an all-out rollercoaster war ahead of us!

Then again, I have a feeling this little 'war' will be over before it even gets started. The reason I say this is because RollerCoaster Tycoon World has managed to achieve the nearly impossible task of getting a massively negative score on Steam, despite bearing the name of an incredibly popular and nostalgic series. But if you would like to form your own opinion, I would recommend you check one of the most recent gameplay preview videos:
