When The Elder Scrolls Online first arrived it really wasn't anything special, just another generic MMO in a sea of other generic MMOs. However, after many months and a whole bunch of patches Bethesda has managed to turn it into something a bit more unique, and more importantly, something a bit more exciting to play!
All of this culminated with the most recent "One Tamriel" update, so if you're interested in seeing what The Elder Scrolls Online looks like nowadays I'd recommend you check out the video below. Have a gander:

Twelve years have passed since RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 took the genre by storm, and now Frontier Developments is back once again with an equally impressive game! As you can probably guess from the title alone I'm talking about Planet Coaster - a theme park creator and management game that has so far received overwhelmingly positive reviews.
If you're wondering why that is the case, a simple explanation would be to say that it offers an unparalleled freedom in creating your very own, unique theme park. You can construct a park within a medieval castle, or one set among the clouds themselves, or if you're feeling particularly mature - one shaped entirely like a penis, because why the hell not! But rather than simply list out what you can do, allow me to instead show you the launch trailer as it only features in-game footage... though I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you if you were hoping to see Wangsville ParkTM:

Space Hulk: Deathwing has had numerous cinematic and gameplay teasers over the past few months, but seeing any sort of actual gameplay footage has been rather rare. But with the official release date only a couple of weeks away, Focus Home Interactive has decided to offer everyone a bit of a treat - 17 minutes of unedited gameplay footage from Space Hulk: Deathwing's solo campaign.
What might come as a surprise, however, is that whoever recorded the video didn't shy away from showing some of the less than stellar aspects of Space Hulk: Deathwing. Now while some of the voice work and enemy pathing might still require a bit of work, the actual gunplay and the act of mowing down hundreds of Genestealers does seem to be pretty damn satisfying! But enough rambling from me, have a look for yourself:

[Update]: There is now an even newer patch available.
While Dishonored 2 is mostly regarded as a great game, it unfortunately launched on the PC with some rather annoying technical problems. There were frequent crashes, problems with loading times, an unstable performance that can drop the framerate down to a single digit, and other such lovely little bugbears.
Bethesda and Arkane Studios are currently working on a variety of changes to combat these issues, and while the patch isn't yet available for general use, you can try out the beta version and see if it helps. As of right now the Steam beta update features a fix for sensitivity being tied to the framerate, an improvement to AMD cloth physics that could greatly increase the framerate at certain points in the game, and a fix for Dishonored 2's occasional fiddling with CPU task priority.

After quite a few months in Early Access Killing Floor 2 is now fully available for both the PC and PS4. While the first Early Access version could only be described as mediocre, the release version appears to be significantly improved - both in terms of mechanics, and in terms of content!
But if you have no idea what Killing Floor 2 is even like, or if you just need a bit of a refresher, check out the recently posted launch trailer. A fair bit of warning though, it contains a rather large amount of half-naked mutants getting blown, burnt, sliced, and exploded into a variety of colorful giblets. With that lovely imagine now in your head, here's the video:

For those of you that might not be aware, Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm are currently having a bit of a cross-promotion. By playing at least 15 Heroes of the Storm games with a friend in either Co-op vs AI, Quick Match, Unranked Draft, or Ranked Mode you can earn yourself a shiny new Genji skin! For those of you more interested in Heroes of the Storm items, however, there are also a bunch of free heroes and a rather cool-looking mount to unlock, though these will require you to play 30 games in total.
While Heroes of the Storm is definitely a fun game, I'm sure there are many of you out there that will disagree. As such, I've created this simple little guide to get you through the 15 matches in as quick of a time as possible. If you manage to find a decently coordinated team you should be able to knock out each match within ~4 minutes, which means that the whole process will take you around an hour, give or take. Anyway, here's a list of what you need to do:

Quite a few months have passed since Total War: Warhammer first appeared, and if you are still waiting for the Linux port to appear I have some good news! According to a surprisingly brief announcement, the Linux version will be arriving next Tuesday, November 22! If you already own the PC version, don't worry about having to buy it twice as it will automatically be granted to you. And naturally, the same works in reverse.
As for the Mac version, that one is still in limbo. The reason for this is that the developers are waiting for an apparently important Metal update (check the link if you want a good explanation of what Metal even is), and as such the Mac version is currently on hold. On the positive side, if the same timeframe applies to Total War: Warhammer as it does for the developer's other Mac port Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, then you can expect to see the Mac version either later this year, or early next year.

If you're like me and you've spent the past 24 hours living under a rock, you may have missed a rather large Overwatch patch. It brought with it the long awaited and much teased Sombra, as well as the new Arcade Mode and a variety of rather exciting balance changes. All in all, its one of the most significant balance patches Overwatch has seen to date!
But since Sombra is most definitely the highlight of this entire update, its probably a good idea to start with her abilities and tactics. Rather than simply bore you with descriptions, I'll show you one of Blizzard's preview videos that goes over pretty much all of the basics. Have a look:

After being teased back at Blizzcon, Patch 7.1.5 has now arrived to the World of Warcraft test servers. There's a bunch of new (and surprisingly overpowered) Legendary items to collect, an improved version of the Brawler's Guild to test your skills in, a bunch of Micro Holidays to celebrate events long gone, as well as Mists of Pandaria Timewalking Dungeons for those with a serious case of nostalgia.
The official patch notes are still incomplete, and to be perfectly honest almost entirely useless, but thankfully the folks over at MMO Champion have managed to datamine pretty much everything of importance. Unfortunately, while the new content is quite exciting, the new Legendary items and class changes seem to be so outrageously imbalanced that I'm surprised Blizzard even needs to test them out in this state.

As is sacred tradition with all Bethesda games, Skyrim Special Edition launched with a whole array of bugs and glitches. It was prone to crashing, the FPS randomly dipped into single digits for seemingly no reason at all, water would occasionally stop being liquid and turn into a flat surface, and things like that.
To Bethesda's credit, they quickly reacted by putting out Update 1.1. - which actually ended up making things even worse by introducing previously unseen varieties of crashes and audio problems! Thankfully, it appears that the second time's the charm as the recently posted Update 1.2 has not only managed to remove most of the crashes, but also most of the problems introduced with the previous update! Here are the brief, but hopefully effective patch notes:
