With Styx: Shards of Darkness launching later today the developers have decided to release one final bit of good news before everyone gets their hands on it. According to an official reply on the Steam forums Styx: Shards of Darkness will be completely DRM-free, quashing any previous rumors of it using Denuvo for protection.
Given how Styx is only being released on Steam this doesn't mean you'll be able to share your copy with friends, or even play multiplayer with the same account, but it does mean you won't have to constantly be online or deal with any potential complications. All in all, its not a bad compromise given how much Steam's offline mode has evolved over the years.

After the extreme success of the Winter Update it appears that Planet Coaster devs are back with yet another content patch, though this time around with less holiday-centric rides. The upcoming Spring Update will bring with it three new rollercoasters, three new fully-customizable flatrides, and the unique "Speed" go-kart ride to thrill and torment your park guests. And as an added 'bonus' this update will also bring with it pickpockets and vandals who would love nothing more than to destroy your park. In order to deal with them you will need security guards and CCTV cameras, but deciding where and how many to place is going to be the tricky question!
Since the list of features is fairly brief, and also fairly self-explanatory, allow me to share with you everything that's coming with the Spring Update. Here's the list:

Victor Vran is an isometric action-RPG that ended up being far better than anyone could've expected. It might not be in the same league as Path of Exile or Diablo 3, but it does bring with it some unique mechanics and more than enough charm to compensate.
Things are going to become even better in the near future as Victor Vran is getting a brand new expansion by the name of Fractured Worlds this spring. It will add an entirely new piece of the world to explore, four new dungeons that change on a daily basis, as well as The Fracture - an infinite dungeon offering new challenges and rewards for the most dedicated of players. You can also expect to see the level cap raised to 60, an additional Destiny Card slot to customize your hero, and a whole bunch of powerful Talismans you can use to alter both your appearance and combat capabilities!
You can check out what all of these new features look like in-game via the recently posted announcement trailer. Have a look:

If you're still playing The Dwarves, a fantasy RPG inspired by Markus Heitz's novel of the same name, you'll be glad to hear that a recent update has brought with it new content and some much needed improvements. There's three new game modes spread across six maps to test your skills, a new very easy difficulty setting for those of you that only wish to see the story, as well as the addition of some much needed keybindings improvements.
Since the patch notes are fairly small here's the entire list, straight from the announcement:

For those of you that might not know, Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf is a challenging turn-based tactics game with some card game elements thrown in for good measure. While the mechanics themselves are solid and enjoyable the release version of Space Wolf suffered from some ridiculous difficulty spikes early in the campaign, as well as an enemy AI that liked to take their sweet time while wasting yours.
Thankfully, a lot of this has been fixed in the most recent update. Enemy animations can now be disabled in the settings, essentially speeding up the combat and bringing the focus back onto action. But perhaps most importantly, some of the previously annoying campaign missions have been reworked and rebalanced. Since the patch notes are fairly small here's the list of everything that came in with the update:

If you've never played any of Telltale's modern adventure games you're in luck as they are currently on a rather steep discount over at the Humble Store. Unless you're aiming for some of their most recent series such as Batman and Minecraft you can find pretty much all of them for €5,75 or less!
Since I'm sure there are some among you that know almost nothing about these games, allow me to list out my favorites and briefly explain why they might be worth your time. Here's the list:

While I love Torment: Tides of Numenera it is quite obvious the developers either ran out of money or time by the end of it. The later portions of the game just kind of fly by, there are a lot less companions than initially advertised, and the combat system is about as boring as it gets for an isometric RPG.
Thankfully, some of these issues will be getting fixed over the coming months. If you're interested in a detailed overview of things to come you can find the full announcement over at Steam. But long story short, there will be a new companion by the name of Oom (also known as "The Toy"), something called the Voluminous Codex, as well as numerous improvements to the combat system.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare is in many ways a spiritual successor to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. However, while Chivalry at least pretended to be grounded in realism Mirage completely throws it away in favor of spellcasting, alchemy, and a variety of characters with unique abilities and weapons.
If this sounds like something you might enjoy you'll be glad to hear that the Closed Beta will begin later this month, or March 27th to be specific. The signups haven't yet begun, but if you don't feel like taking any chances you can go and sign up for the Closed Alpha over at the official website. Chances are high you won't get into the alpha, but this might just automatically put you into the drawing pool for the beta invites, so if you feel like maximizing your changes its probably worth doing.

Agony is an upcoming survival horror game set in one of the most terrifying locations imaginable - an extremely twisted version of hell that greatly reminds me of Warhammer 40,000's Warp. Rather than survive by scavenging wood and hunting animals for food you will need to sneak around through hell itself, posses lesser demons in order to bypass obstacles, and somehow try to keep your sanity in check despite the bizarre circumstances.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in you can find two preview videos down below. The first one offers a brief glimpse at the story and its universe, while the second one consists of pure demon-fueled gameplay. Have a look, and just do keep in mind that what you're going to see is some pretty messed up stuff:

Rocket League will soon be getting yet another free new game mode. The rather aptly named Dropshot will arrive as a part of a free update on March 22nd and bring with it a brand new take on Rocket League's gameplay. Instead of trying to push the ball into your opponent's goal your objective will be to smash the opposing team's floor, and then score goals through the newly created gaps.
If you're not sure what exactly all of this entails, worry not as the developers have released a brief preview video showcasing what exactly Dropshot is all about. Have a look:
