Duelyst Ancient Bond cards screenshot

[Update]: Unfortunately, Duelyst will be closing down its doors on February 27, 2020.

For those of you that might not be familiar with it, Duelyst is a hybrid between a card game and a turn-based strategy, though the focus is most definitely on the CCG aspects of gameplay. If you ever wanted to give it a try now would be the best time to do so as a new expansion has just arrived, bringing with it a whole bunch of new cards and most likely players as well.

To be more specific, Ancient Bonds carries within it 39 new cards to mess around with, a new keyword by the name of Bond, as well as a whole lot of synergies with previous cards. If you're interested in seeing what all of these new cards are like you'll find what you seek over at the official website, all neatly laid out for your viewing pleasure.

Space Hulk: Deathwing's Space Marines in action

Space Hulk: Deathwing is a Warhammer 40,000 themed shooter where four mighty Space Marines fight against hordes upon hordes of Genestealers and their mutated offspring. It released a little while back on Steam with quite a few issues to its name, and while the most recent update hasn't fixed all of the problems it is a step in the right direction.

The first and most exciting change is the addition of two new weapons: the Heavy Flamer, and the Hellfire Missile Launcher. Along with the new weapons all of the classes have received expanded loadouts in multiplayer, which should help to bring a bit of variety into Deathwing's class-based system. On the less exciting, but far more influential front we have all of the various technical improvements. If you're interested in all of the details, as well as the full patch notes, you should head over to Steam. On the other hand, if you're just looking for the short version, here it is:

Sonic Mania official artwork and logo

For those of you that might not be aware, Sonic Mania is a brand new 2D Sonic game heavily inspired by the original. There will be new zones and remixed classic levels, new gameplay mechanics to keep that "gotta go fast" attitude alive despite the various platforming challenges, and three playable characters to toy around with: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.

If you're interested in how close Sonic Mania emulates the original, and what all of the new improvements look like, you'll find the recently posted gameplay video down below. If you find the developer commentary to be distracting you can find raw gameplay footage by heading over here instead. Anyway, here's the video:

Styx: Shards of Darkness official screenshot of a rather large level

Styx: Shards of Darkness, a stealth adventure inspired by the Thief series, has now made its way to PC and consoles. As you might expect given its inspiration Shards of Darkness features plenty of open-ended levels crawling with guards and traps, a variety of weapons and tools to either dispatch or bypass them, as well as stealth mechanics that reward patience over all-out aggression.

For those of you wishing to learn more, or just check out the visuals, you'll find the recently posted launch trailer down below. It doesn't feature much in terms of gameplay, but it should give you a brief glimpse at the story and Styx's personality. Have a look:

Starcraft 1's Protoss Carrier artwork

Starcraft is one of the most influential games of all time, and to my knowledge the very first esport that gained any sort of wide-spread attention. Given its popularity it shouldn't come as surprise to hear that there were numerous rumors about it getting remastered over the years, though so far all of those rumors and speculation have ended up being exactly that.

Now that I've adequately lowered your expectations, allow me to share with you a potentially exciting bit of news. According to Sports Seoul, and translated over at Teamliquid.net by Waxangel, Starcraft: Remastered is going to make an appearance this May-June. The remake will feature high-resolution graphics, Battle.net integration, and most likely updated audio quality, but the gameplay itself will remain unchanged from Starcraft: Brood War.

Full Throttle Remastered screenshot from the trailer

Over two decades have passed since LucasArts' Full Throttle first appeared, and if you've never given it a try you'll soon have a chance to correct that 'mistake'. According to the newest announcement Full Throttle Remastered will be making an appearance on April 18th for the PC, PS4, and PS Vita.

The remastered version will bring with it brand new hand-drawn artwork, high resolution animations and backgrounds, as well as higher quality music to make all of those hours spent on the open road that much more enjoyable. But if you just wish to take a trip down memory lane, worry not as Full Throttle will also have an option to toggle between the new and old versions at will!

The newest Paragon hero Yin - official artwork

If you ever wanted to give Paragon a try, Epic's action-orientated take on the MOBA genre, now would be the time to do so. In celebration of its one year anniversary the Paragon devs are giving out one of six Vault skins, and there is also a double XP event running which is a great opportunity to unlock emotes and master skins for your favorites.

As for the new hero, Yin is a carry that uses a combination of her whip and wind magic to dash in and out of combat, quickly demolishing her enemies. Here's a brief video showcasing what Yin is all about, and how you can best make use out of her abilities:

Mass Effect: Andromeda screenshot of the team in battle

If you're a fan of Mass Effect 3's surprising good multiplayer you'll be glad to hear that Mass Effect 4 will not be deviating from the formula. Sure, there will be new classes, weapons, and upgrades to toy around with, but the basic premise remains the same. Its all about sticking together as a team, picking complementary skill-sets, and then using those to blast a whole bunch of enemies into oblivion.

You can find what all of this looks like in action through the fourth official preview video down below. Before you dive in, however, just keep in mind that this video showcases quite a few of Andromeda's enemies, so if you want to have a completely fresh experience you might want to avert your eyes. That little disclaimer aside, here's the video:

World of Warcraft: Legion's Xavious

Legion is perhaps the best expansion World of Warcraft has ever seen, but even so I must admit it has some major problems. The biggest and most annoying of these issues is the Legendary system given that its capable of either 'rewarding' you with straight up garbage or 10% more damage, all based on purely random chance.

Thankfully, this is no longer going to be the case in Update 7.2. According to the most recent PTR patch notes Blizzard has greatly increased the power level of almost all of the weakest legendaries, finally making them something more than a waste of space. You can find all of the details in the patch notes mentioned above, but if you want a brief example of what Blizzard is aiming for, here's the list of changes coming to all of the neutral and shared legendaries:

Dead Rising 4 selfie screenshot

After being available for quite a while now Dead Rising 4 has finally made its way to Steam as well. It brings with it 4-player co-op, a ridiculous amount of weapon and character customization, as well as an equally ridiculous amount of zombies to smack around with those weapons.

If you're wondering what all of this might look like in action, wonder no more as Capcom has recently posted a brief teaser showcasing bits and pieces of Dead Rising 4 gameplay. Have a look:
