World of Warcraft: Legion's Kil'Jaeden screenshot

World of Warcraft's Update 7.2 is so massive it had to spend numerous months on the PTR in order to ensure adequate testing for all of its features. But soon the floodgates will open, and on March 28th the Burning Legion will once again continue their crusade, bringing with them a rather ridiculous amount of content.

We'll finally be able to revisit the Tomb of Sargeras as a brand new raid, assault and fortify the Broken Shore zone alongside our fellow class members, acquire flying and class-specific mounts, explore the new Cathedral of the Eternal Night dungeon, hunt down new artifact weapon appearances and upgrades, and the list goes on for quite a while longer. Needless to say, this is going to be the biggest update Legion has seen since its inception!

Total War: Warhammer potential image teasing the sequel or expansion feature the jungles of Lustria

After the recent video showcasing all of the free content Total War: Warhammer got since release the developers announced that they have no more plans for DLC. This came as a massive surprise since both the Wood Elves and Beastmen were positively received, which means that fan-favorite factions such as the Skaven would be welcomed with opened arms (and wallets) by the community.

However, it appears that while Creative Assembly has no plans for DLC they do have plans for an expansion, or perhaps even a sequel. There is no official confirmation just yet, but the Total War website has recently been updated with a countdown timer and an image of a jungle with a single ziggurat far in the distance - the telltale signs of Lizardmen!

Street Fighter V screenshot of Kolin in action

Street Fighter V's Capcom Fighters Network (CFN) will soon be getting a whole bunch of new features and improvements. Matchmaking will be both faster and more accurate, it will take less time to get into the matches themselves, "rage quitters" will finally be punished, there will be country and league based rankings, a new friend management system, and the list goes on for quite a while.

In order to showcase all of the improvements, and also draw in new players, Capcom has just announced that Street Fighter V will be having a free weekend starting from March 28th and ending on April 3rd. The trial offer will be limited to Steam users and will only feature online modes, but will be completely free for both current and new players.

Dark Souls 3 The Ringed City DLC screenshot of a the entire region

The Ringed City is Dark Souls 3's second and final piece of DLC, and perhaps most disappointingly of all, the grand finale for the entire Dark Souls series. It is set to arrive on March 28th, but in order to pave the way FromSoftware has just released a brand new balance update alongside two PvP arenas: Dragon Ruins and Grand Roof.

Heavy armor and weapons are finally getting their much needed buff, poison and bleed effects have been slightly improved for PvP, shield bash is no longer going to be a useless skill, katanas have been slightly nerfed, and the list goes on. If you're interested in all of the details you can find what you seek over here, but long story short, its a whole bunch of bug fixes and balance changes aimed at making PvP as enjoyable as possible.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 screenshot of a sniper perch

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is an upcoming open-world tactical shooter with a heavy focus on player choice. Its going to be up to you to decide how you'll complete each mission, whether this be through pure stealth, over-the-top aggression, a couple dozen well-placed sniper shots, or some sort of combination of those.

Due to a recent delay Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has had its release date pushed to April 25th, so in order to help pass the time the developers have posted a rather lengthy new gameplay video. However, this isn't just any ordinary gameplay video, its a showcase of what exactly it takes to beat a single mission on the hardest difficulty! So if you're interested in some intense sniping action you'll find the video right below:

Clan Raven artwork from the Northgard strategy game

Northgard is a viking themed real-time strategy from the makers of Evoland. In the most basic terms I can describe it as a hybrid between the Civilization and Settlers series, though with less complexity than either of those. What I mean by this comparison is that Northgard shares a similar focus on city-building, resource management, tight production circles, and open-ended playstyles that allow you to do secure victory in whichever way you wish.

After launching in Early Access a short while ago Northgard has now received its very first major update. The definite highlight is the addition of a brand new faction - Clan Raven. They start with the Trading Lore automatically researched and a couple of buffs that directly relate to amassing wast amounts of currency. This directly ties into Clan Raven's ability to pay for colonization with gold rather than food, essentially allowing them to expand at a surprisingly rapid pace. Add to this their unique building "The Harbor" that allows Clan Raven to launch vast amounts of angry vikings to raid all of their neighbors and you've got yourself a clan that can easily outpace the opposition.

Killing Floor 2 dual flame revolvers

Killing Floor 2's Descent update recently added two new maps, a new sub-game mode, two unique weapons including the awesome dual flame-revolvers, and a whole bunch of other content. In order to give everyone a chance to play with the new toys Tripwire has made Killing Floor 2 completely free-to-play over the weekend.

So if you're up for some co-op zombie-slaying action with a massive amount of customization you might want to head over to Steam. The free weekend will only last until Sunday night, so make sure to get plenty of playtime in before the whole promotion ends.

NieR: Automata's main character 2B

NieR: Automata is a pretty damn good game, but as is tradition for any AAA game its PC launch was mired by technical issues. Bugs and glitches aside, the biggest problem most people talk about is the performance, which for some configurations can dip down all the way to 20 FPS despite the hardware being up to par.

If you're one of the players suffering from this issue I might just have some good news for you! The recently updated and completely unofficial FAR patch (Fix Automata Resolution) has added a new option that controls Global Illumination, which if tweaked can result in a massive performance boost for a comparatively tiny decrease in visual fidelity.

World of Warcraft's WoW token

World of Warcraft's account services and store prices were never cheap, and even basic things such as realm transfers for single characters cost a frankly ridiculous €20. Well, I'm afraid things are going to become even worse as Blizzard has just announced a price increase for account services in the EU and UK.

Starting on April 5th Character Transfers will be €25/£19, WoW Tokens will be increasing in price for the UK alone and will set you back £17, and if you were planning to boost a character you might want to do it soon as the Character Boost will go from €50 to €60/£49. You can find the full list of updated prices by heading over to the announcement post.

Lucio from Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch crossover

If you thought that good Lucio players were already nightmarishly hard to track down and kill, I'm afraid you might not like what's coming up next. During a PTR update last week Overwatch devs shortened the range of Lucio's auras, but in return increased his healing, movement speed, and projectile speed. As you can imagine this made Lucio absolutely ridiculous, so much so that he was kept on the PTR even though most of the other changes went through.

In order to correct some of these issues, but also make Lucio much more enjoyable to play, the developers have just unleashed another PTR update, and this is where things get really interesting. Lucio's self-healing is being decreased by 33%, his wall ride bonus speed is being decreased from 30% to 20%, but in order to compensate his damage is going up by a rather sizable 25%!
