Continuing the tradition of vaguely German-sounding DLC names, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide's Stromdorf DLC brings with it two new rat-infested maps to explore, as well as a giant two-handed sword to dispatch said rats with. There are also a bunch of tricky achievements to earn, but Stromdorf's focus is most certainly placed on the new maps, so if you do decide to get it, make sure that's the reason you're doing so. Oh, and do keep in mind that you only need to purchase one DLC for your entire party to be able to play the new maps!
If you're wondering what all of this looks like in action you'll find the recently posted trailer down below. And while this isn't explicitly stated anywhere in the DLC, there does appear to be a brand new enemy to clobber! Have a look:

If you ever wanted to give The Division a try, but didn't really feel like buying it due to its somewhat mediocre reputation, you'll be glad to hear that Ubisoft is currently holding a free weekend. Simply head over to the official website, choose your platform by pressing the "Play Now" button, and that's basically it. The only catch is that you will need Uplay in order to play it on the PC, but that's pretty much par for the course with Ubisoft games.
The whole event will last until May 7th for the PC, and May 8th for the consoles in Europe and Asia. Since the whole timetable is a bit confusing and almost impossible to explain in brief, allow me to instead show you the official schedule that came with the announcement:

While the World of Warcraft team is still fumbling through the dark in search of balance, the Overwatch devs have just released a bunch of minor, but extremely welcome changes for a variety of heroes. Hanzo now draws his bow 10% faster and is capable of doing so while wall climbing, Reaper now automatically reloads his guns whenever he uses Wraith Form, Reinhardt's Earthshatter now travels only 2 meters up into the air meaning its possible to actually dodge, and Soldier has finally received his long-awaited damage nerf!
You can find the full patch notes over at the official website, but if you're just looking for the important changes I'll post them right below. Before I do that, however, it is worth mentioning that Roadhog's hook has finally been fixed, even though this isn't in the patch notes. Heroes you hook will now arrive exactly where you are looking, rather than slightly above or below like what happens currently on the live servers. That pig-shaped diversion aside, here are the patch notes:

ELEX is an upcoming post-apocalyptic open-world RPG from the creators of the Risen and Gothic series. Now before you run away screaming because of how generic and boring the "post-apocalyptic" tag has become, allow me to just say that ELEX is not set in either a zombie or a nuclear apocalypse. Instead, the action in ELEX takes place many years after a giant meteor nearly wiped out all of civilization, but also deposited some rather... interesting new substances across the land.
You'll find a much better explanation, as well as some lovely artwork, over at the recently posted story trailer down below. And don't worry about spoilers as all of the stuff you'll see is fairly basic world-building and lore. Anyway, here's the video:

Blizzard has recently announced that they will be adding a bunch of Mythic Keystone changes with the upcoming 7.2.5 PTR update. As is tradition with anything related to World of Warcraft, half of these changes are brilliant and will greatly improve the overall gameplay, while the other half are the ravings of madmen that seem to only offer negatives.
But before I influence your opinion with my own, allow me to first show you what exactly the developers are changing. You'll find the full announcement post over at the World of Warcraft forums, but here's the 'short' version:

If you're like me and you spent the past few days living comfortably under a rock, you might be interested to hear that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III has now arrived on Steam. And much like the vast majority of Warhammer 40,000 games out there it appears to be a mixed bag in terms of quality.
But before we move onto that, here's the recently posted launch trailer to hopefully let you know what Dawn of War 3 is all about. Unfortunately, due to all the weird cuts and angles you'll probably not going to get much information on the gameplay itself, but it should at least give you a general idea of what sort of RTS Dawn of War 3 is. Besides Roadhog and his magnificent hook, Genji has seen the most bugs and issues out of any Overwatch hero to date. His wall climb is unreliable and often fails for no reason, reflect occasionally lets damage go through so you can actually die and kill the enemy with the same bullet that killed you, and best of all, the Dragonblade has a long-standing tradition of showing a hit animation, hit sound, and hit marker, but not actually doing any damage. Add to this the recent bug that made Genji's sword swings randomly slow down and you've got yourself an extremely fun character that is also plagued with some extremely annoying issues!
Well, while the wall climb and reflect still remain a problem, you will be extremely glad to hear that the two Dragonblade bugs have now finally been fixed! The recent update has also brought with it some much needed changes to how the Assault and Assault/Escort maps work, as well as a brand new aiming technique for those of you that use controllers. You can find the full patch notes over at the Blizzard website, but here's the important stuff:

If you've never played Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard's take on the ridiculously popular MOBA genre, now would be the time to do so. Heroes of the Storm 2.0 recently arrived with a new progression system that closely mirrors the one from Overwatch, Genji as a new playable hero, Hanamura as a new battlefield, and even a bunch of skins and goodies you can unlock for both Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm.
You'll find all of the details, and there is a lot of them, by heading over to the official website. But for now, here's the recently posted and rather fancy trailer showcasing not only Hanamura, but also Genji and D.Va! Have a look:

[Update]: As a part of Update 9.1.5 Blizzard will be bringing back the Mage Tower challenges.
The Mage Tower is a brand new addition to World of Warcraft that arrived with the recent Patch 7.2. While its active it offers a variety of minor benefits such hidden chests full of goodies and additional artifact power, and most importantly of all, the ability to undergo an extremely difficult trial in order to unlock class and specialization exclusive weapon skins. As you can probably guess from the title alone, the challenge I will be guiding you through is called "Closing the Eye", in which you will have to defeat not only Archmage Xylem, but his demonic master as well!
If you would like to try and obtain one of these fancy new cosmetics it is important that you understand that the Mage Tower Challenge is exactly what the name entails - a challenge. If you think you're going to beat it in a single attempt, or even a dozen attempts, I'm afraid you're in for a rude awakening. That said, it is not impossible, and if you come prepared chances are high you will be able to complete it just fine. So if you willing to do what it takes to look downright awesome, allow me to give you a helping hand and hopefully make your journey just a little bit easier.

Heroes of the Storm 2.0 is coming in the near future with a ridiculous amount of new features and changes. If you're interested in all of the currently revealed details you can find what you seek over at the official website, but for now let's focus on the most interesting part of this update - Genji!
Like Zarya, Tracer, and Lucio that came before him, Heroes of the Storm's Genji will be a near-perfect replica of his Overwatch self, and yes, this does include all of his abilities! For those of you wondering what all of this might look like in action, here's the recently posted Genji spotlight video showcasing his abilities, combos, and counters:
