If you ever wanted to give The Division a try, but didn't really feel like buying it due to its somewhat mediocre reputation, you'll be glad to hear that Ubisoft is currently holding a free weekend. Simply head over to the official website, choose your platform by pressing the "Play Now" button, and that's basically it. The only catch is that you will need Uplay in order to play it on the PC, but that's pretty much par for the course with Ubisoft games.

The whole event will last until May 7th for the PC, and May 8th for the consoles in Europe and Asia. Since the whole timetable is a bit confusing and almost impossible to explain in brief, allow me to instead show you the official schedule that came with the announcement:

Outside of the DLC content there will be no barriers in this free weekend. So if you have noting better to do for the next few days you can even finish the story campaign in its entirety. But even if you don't manage to complete the entire game in two days, worry not as your progress will be saved so you can always continue from where you left off. That said, The Division will be 60% off until May 9th, so make sure to get plenty of playtime in the free weekend before deciding whether its worth a purchase. Have fun!
