If you aren't familiar with it Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is a prequel to the well-celebrated RTS Homeworld 1 and brings with it many of the same mechanics and story elements that made the series good.
Today we finally get a short glimpse at the much advertised Artifact Retrieval game mode where two teams face off to gather and secure, you guessed it, artifacts that spawn periodically in the middle of the map. You can find the video right below:

- in News
There was a rumor a while back that the Danganronpa series, among others such as Final Fantasy X & X-2, would be making their way to Steam but no actual confirmation was ever given. However, since now three of the games mentioned in the leak are confirmed as Steam releases I think its safe to assume that the rumor is quite true.
In today's case its the Playstation exclusive Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc that is confirmed as a Steam release for February, with the sequels most likely following suit afterwards. Here's the announcement trailer:

[Update]: After years in development, Door Kickers 2 has now entered Steam Early Access.
Door Kickers 1 is a real time strategy game where you take control of a SWAT team during a raid against overwhelming numbers of armed and entrenched opponents. The success of your operation depends entirely on your planning, timing and most importantly, kicking down doors. In short, its a damn good game.
Which is why I am happy to tell you that Door Kickers 2 - Task Force North has been officially announced and will bring with it the same sort of gameplay that made Door Kickers 1 good but this time around in a more military environment. Here's a quick overview of what to expect:

Despite some previous gameplay presentations and announcements centering around events in Brooklyn and other nearby areas Ubisoft has recently announced that The Division will only contain the Midtown Manhattan borough on launch.
Don't take that as a negative however because according to an interview the Examiner did with The Division's creative director Magnus Jensen it will be a 1:1 recreation of Midtown Manhattan which is still a rather large area. Here's the full quote:

After a rather successful Early Access campaign and a lot of very positive reviews Subterrain will be fully released on Steam this January 21st. Here's the release trailer:
Firefall's Upcoming 1.6 Patch Promises To Revitalize The Game

Its no secret that Firefall has been a rather mismanaged project, constantly going through complete reworks and spending a lot of money on absolutely insane marketing stunts such as the by now infamous Firefall Bus which couldn't even drive.
There is a glimmer of hope for Firefall however as patch 1.6 which is arriving this January 20th brings with it massive updates to almost every area of the game, from questing to PvP and class skills. Here's a brief overview of the main features:
Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders Is Coming This February 4th To Steam

I never was much of a fan of the murder mystery/investigation genre, mostly due to being born past its prime but after playing and enjoying Aviary Attorney I might be turning around on it. And what better game would there be to start my journey than one starring the famously mustached detective Poirot.
Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders is coming to Steam (PC & Mac) on February 4th and from everything I can see so far its very true to its origins. Here's the trailer so you can take a look for yourself:
