If the name sounds familiar you might be remembering Night in the Woods from its successful Kickstarter a few years back where it not only reached its $50,000 goal but quadrupled it instead and ended the 30 day campaign with a cozy $209,375.
After many years of work, and a couple of delays, the story focused adventure/exploration hybrid Night in the Woods is set to release this fall, as announced today on the developer's twitter. Here's the trailer so you can see what all the fuss is about:

Dark Souls is genuinely my favorite game ever made, embodying almost every element I love seeing: deep and subtle storytelling, challenging but fair combat, tons of diversity and replay value as well as a well-connected world ripe for exploration.

Firewatch is a very stylish and atmospheric narrative-driven adventure game where you play as Henry, a would-be writer who seeks escape from his problems amidst the wilderness of Wyoming.
Your only contact with the outside world, and in general, is your snarky but genuine supervisor Delilah. Together, the two of you have a simple job, ensure that the park doesn't get engulfed in a blazing inferno. But simple things don't usually stay very simple for long and soon enough you are dragged in to a mysterious adventure that will have you hiking, climbing and falling all over the park in search of answers.

Titanfall 2 Will Feature A Story Focused Single Player Campaign | Spin-Off TV Series In Development

Titanfall is an excellent showcase of today's gaming market. When it first launched it arrived alongside massive praise and plenty of hype yet all of that completely dissipated within a single month. There are simply far too many games battling for a player's attention for them to spend a long time playing a multiplayer-only game that came out with small amounts of content.
The Titanfall team is seemingly well aware of this because in an interview with Forbes the lead writer behind Titanfall 2, Jesse Stern, confirmed that the team is focusing on both the multiplayer and the campaign which is supposed to be an introduction in to a much larger universe alongside the upcoming TV spin-off.
