Aporia: Beyond the Valley is an upcoming first person puzzle-adventure set in a world filled with ancient technology and long-overgrown ruins. Instead of using text or the classic narrator the storyline will conveyed entirely through the use of atmosphere and the ever-changing environment. An interesting idea to be sure, but one that is going to be difficult to pull off well.
If you're wondering what Aporia might look like in terms of gameplay, wonder no more as the developers have recently posted a decently lengthy gameplay trailer that covers pretty much everything you need to know. Have a look:
The zombie-infested State of Decay 2 will be coming to PC and Xbox in the Spring of 2018

State of Decay is a bit of an unpolished game, but despite all of its flaws its still one of the most enjoyable zombie survival games out there, purely because it manages to hit all of the notes the genre is famous for. You need to fortify and maintain a home base, venture out into the wasteland to find supplies and food for your ever-growing colony, stealth your way through hordes of zombies as gunfire tends to draw more of them, and overall try to keep your extremely demoralized companions alive for another day.
As such I am very glad to say that during the recent E3 convention we not only got an announcement for State of Decay 2, but it also appears to follow in exactly the same footsteps as the original! If you're wondering what all of that means in terms of gameplay, here's the recently posted trailer:
The Lord of the Rings Online's next expansion will bring the action to Mordor itself

After many, many years it seems that The Lord of the Rings Online will finally allow players to enter one of the most interesting regions in the entirety of Middle-earth - Mordor. Once the Mordor expansion finally arrives it will bring with it the High Elves as a new race, the ability to fully explore Gorgoroth and face off against some truly terrifying beasties, and naturally, a storyline that will delve deep into Mordor's history.
Besides all of the new content there will also be an allegiance system where you can pledge your loyalty to one of the numerous factions in order to receive unique bonuses, gear, and even storyline. The process of crafting and gearing your characters will also be further improved in order to focus on customization, though no specifics have been released just yet. And just in case you were wondering, you will be able to explore Mount Doom and its surrounding area!

If you've managed to explore pretty much everything The Elder Scrolls Online's Morrowind expansion has to offer, you'll be glad to hear that a brand new update is coming in the near future. As with most ESO updates it will come in two parts: one entirely free for all players, and the other a DLC pack.
The premium part of the update, The Horns of the Reach, will bring with it two new dungeons to explore: Bloodrot Forge and Falkreath Hold. On the other hand, the free part of Update 15 will bring with it a brand new Battlegrounds PvP mode by the name of Chaosball as well as a new PvP map, an update to the currency system, customizable combat cues and warnings, as well as new homes and furnishings for Homestead.
The Swords of Ditto is an upcoming "compact action-RPG" that promises a unique adventure each time

The Swords of Ditto is an upcoming "compact action-RPG" that will have you explore a fairly large and hand-drawn overworld, delve through a variety of dungeons in either singleplayer or co-op, and naturally, collect a whole bunch of loot along the way. What might be the most interesting part of The Swords of Ditto, however, is that every time you die you will come back as an entirely different hero. Its not a massive twist on the classic roguelike formula, but if each characters starts with enough unique weaknesses and strengths I could easily see it working out quite well.
If you're wondering what exactly The Swords of Ditto might look like in terms of actual gameplay, wonder no more as Devolver Digital has recently posted an extended gameplay video covering just that. Have a look:

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon is an upcoming action-RPG set in a demon-ridden Western Europe somewhere in the 19th century. As is tradition with these types of games our protagonist will find herself succumbing to the demonic curse, after which she will need to figure out what exactly the demons are, and what the mysterious Queen of the Moon is searching for.
While the recently posted announcement trailer most likely won't fill you in on any of the story, it does a rather good job of setting the tone and atmosphere. So if you're interested in seeing what Nights of Azure 2 is going to look like, here's the video:
Star Wars Battlefront 2's latest developer video showcases the story from the Imperial perspective

Ever since Star Wars Battlefront 2's reveal during this year's E3 the focus was firmly planted on multiplayer. So much so that you might be surprised to hear that the singleplayer campaign will not revolve around the good guys as is tradition, but rather on the newly-defeated Imperials!
If you're wondering what the story is going to be about, and what sort of challenges the developers faced while trying to create some likable 'bad guys', you'll find what you seek in the newly posted "Behind the Story" developer video. Have a look, its well worth spending a couple of minutes on:
