Titanfall 2's upcoming sixth major free update will add a third weapon slot for Pilots and two new maps
- By Ash

Titanfall 2 developers promised they would continue supporting Titanfall 2 long after launch, and so far they have done an extremely good job. The rather large Monarch Update has only just arrived earlier this month, and already we have a brand new update just looming over the horizon!
The currently unnamed 6th DLC (don't get scared by the name, its a free update) will bring with it two new maps, a whole bunch of balance changes and new features, and most importantly of all, a 3rd weapon slot for Pilots. No longer will you have to choose between having an actual sidearm and a way to fight against Titans! It took them quite a while to realize this fact, but hey, there's no reason to complain about Respawn pushing Titanfall 2 towards a much more balanced and interesting 'meta'.
Hearthstone will soon be getting massive improvements to the drop rate of Legendary cards

I'm not exactly sure what's happening over at Blizzard, but whatever it is I am definitely in favor of these pro-customer moves. The Overwatch devs have just recently announced that the previously extremely unfair Loot Boxes will be transformed into something quite amazing, and now we are getting the exact same announcement from the Hearthstone developers as well.
Starting with the release of Hearthstone's next expansion (though this applies to all card packs), every time you open a Legendary card you will be guaranteed to receive a non-duplicate Legendary card from the same set! This works for both golden and non-golden cards, so don't worry getting duplicates just because you like to have your Legendary cards extra shiny.
Here are my recommendations for Day 1 of the 2017 Steam Summer Sale

After a few weeks of teasers, rumors, and wild theories the Steam Summer Sale has now finally arrived, bringing with it a ridiculous amount of discounted games. However, while that is certainly a good thing, it is not exactly easy to choose only a couple of games when you have thousands upon thousands strewn before you.
In an effort to help out with this little 'problem', and also showcase some great games you might not have otherwise even looked at, I have devised a brief list consisting of five games you should consider grabbing on Day 1 of the Steam Summer Sale. Without further ado, let's begin:
Prison Architect will soon be getting the hefty Update 12 despite being technically 'finished'

Despite Prison Architect being 'finished' for quite a few months now the developers have returned with yet another update. Like with Update 11 there are no massive new and groundbreaking features to be found here, but rather a whole bunch of important fixes and improvements, mostly focused around the staff and the 'super-secret' 3D mode.
As always, the developers have released an extremely lengthy video detailing every single change and tweak they've done. If you're interested, and you have 30 minutes to burn, I would recommend you give the video below a look as its surprisingly entertaining:
Overwatch will soon be getting massive Loot Box improvements and automatic highlight recording

The Anniversary Update brought with it more cosmetic content than any update so far, which quickly showcased how broken the Loot Box system truly is. Since most of the good items are epic or legendary, and since their drop rates are fairly low, you need to purchase a frankly ridiculous amount of Loot Boxes to come even close to grabbing all of the new items. As you might imagine, this did not sit well with the Overwatch community, especially those that have spent hefty sums of money to acquire a whole bunch of useless duplicates.
After the massive outrage Blizzard announced that they are discussing possible solutions, though they didn't release any actual details... until now! According to the recently updated PTR (Public Test Realm), the Loot Boxes have been reworked in order to drastically reduce the amount of duplicates, and best of all, the currency value for each duplicate you do get has been increased. In other words, Overwatch's Loot Boxes will soon be making a transformation from something terrible to something quite amazing!
Unto the End is a newly announced combat-focused adventure with a rather fetching art style

E3 has brought with it a whole bunch of announcements for AAA games and their sequels, but also a couple of really interesting indie games. As you can guess from the title, one of these indie games is Unto the End, a 2D action-adventure with a heavy focus on combat and some extremely stylish visuals.
Before I even say anything else I would recommend you check out the recently posted trailer down below. It does a rather good job of explaining what Unto the End is all about, and most importantly, what it looks like. Have a gander:
The original Killing Floor is currently free on the Humble Store

The Humble Store is currently running a massive sale on shooters, including Killing Floor 2, and in order to get a bit more exposure they have decided to give away the original Killing Floor for free. So if you're interested, simply head over to the Humble Store and you'll be slaying vast hordes of mutants in no time.
I've personally spent over 300 hours playing Killing Floor, so if you're into team-based horde modes I would definitely recommend you check it out as it really is a great game. Killing Floor's visuals may be a bit dated by today's standards, but its weapons are still some of the most impactful and fun to use, so for the low price of "free" you really can't go wrong with Killing Floor.
