The Norse action-exploration game Jotun is free to grab for the next two days

Thunder Lotus Games are currently preparing to launch Sundered, a hand-drawn Metroidvania set in a ruined world teeming with eldritch horrors, and in order to drum up a bit of excitement they are giving away their previous game Jotun. As you can probably guess from the title, Jotun is a hand-drawn action-exploration game deeply rooted in Norse mythology and filled with a whole bunch monsters that need slaying.
I haven't played it myself, but from what I've managed to gather so far the reviews are fairly mixed, with the most common complaints being about Jotun's lack of focus on any one feature. If this is something you're willing to overlook in favor of some truly spectacular artwork, head over to either Steam or GOG to grab yourself a free copy. The giveaway will only last for two more days, until Monday 4pm UTC to be specific, so don't delay for too long or you might just miss it.

After many months of rumors and leaks EA officially announced Battlefront 2 during this year's E3. Rather than just stick to pre-rendered cutscenes the Battlefront 2 reveal was immediately followed by a whole bunch of gameplay footage, as well as the announcement of an upcoming multiplayer beta.
If this is something you're interested in you'll be glad to hear that the open multiplayer beta will be coming in October for both PC and consoles. The public beta will open its doors on October 6th, while those that pre-order Battlefront 2 will be able to test their mettle a couple of days early, on October 4th.
After four months of issues Overwatch's Reinhardt will soon be getting most of his bugs fixed

Out of all the heroes in Overwatch there are few that have suffered as much as Reinhardt has recently. Not only is the meta completely unfavorable to him, but almost all of his spells are currently inconsistent and buggy, which as you might imagine makes playing him about as fun as setting your hair on fire.
Thankfully, the German crusader will soon be getting most of his bugs fixed, as announced by Overwatch's Game Director Jeff Kaplan himself! The whole post is fairly short and to the point, so here it is in full:
Warframe's Plains of Eidolon expansion will bring MMO-inspired open-world content

Warframe's second annual TennoCon convention has now come and gone, bringing with it some rather intriguing announcements. Throughout the event the developers showed off new weapons, the long-awaited Umbra Warframe, the next Prime Warframe, and also an expansion centered entirely around MMO-like open-world content!
The Plains of Eidolon, the very first of these new regions, will feature hand-crafted environments with a day-night cycle, as well as a diverse population of friendly and hostile NPCs. For example, during the day you will most likely encounter traditional enemies such as the Grineer, while night time will bring with it enormous creatures called the Eidolons - something Warframe has not seen as of yet.

The Escapists 2, as you would imagine from the title alone, is a sandbox prison-escape game where you'll need to craft, brawl, and sneak your way out of some truly horrendous situations. Once it arrives it will feature 10 unique prisons to escape from, drop-in multiplayer for up to four players, support for a variety of different break-out playstyles, and so forth.
If you're wondering what all of this might look like in gameplay terms, wonder no more as the developers have recently released a brief yet informative trailer. Have a look:
Vermintide's Arrogance Lost Update has added some extremely challenging and very well hidden content

Given how many times my group ended up kicking the bucket when faced off against hundreds of rat-men I wouldn't exactly say that Vermintide is an easy game, but more optional challenges are always welcome. The recently launched Arrogance Lost Update has brought with it just that though a whole array of super-hard achievements, rebalanced items, as well as a brand new map by the name of Trial of the Foolhardy.
However, accessing this new and extremely tricky map is not going to be as simple as choosing it from the tavern. Instead you will need to solve a plethora of perplexing puzzles in the Wizard's Tower in order to unlock it, though what the puzzles are or where they are located the developers didn't share. So if you want to try your hand at potentially the most difficult map in the entirety of Vermintide it might be a good idea to start scouring the Wizard's Tower from top to bottom.
