After 13 years RuneScape's pirate themed questline "Pieces of Hate" has now finally concluded

While it might not be my cup of tea, I can't help but admire how RuneScape has evolved and grown over the years. In an era where games tend to last a couple of years at best, it truly is impressive to hear that RuneScape has now finally concluded a pirate-themed questline that originally launched in the ancient times of 2005!

In Pieces of Hate, the final part of the storyline, you'll be expected to dive into the depths of the sea in order to uncover treasure, hunt down giant monsters, and naturally, square off against hordes of zombie pirates. Perhaps most importantly, you'll be able to turn the fabled Book o'Piracy into a rum-fueled teleportation machine... because why not!

If you're like me and you have absolutely no idea what exactly is enjoyable about Formula One racing games, you might be interested to hear that F1 2015 is currently completely free to grab. Simply head on over to the Humble Bundle website and you'll be able to claim your free copy, though do keep in mind that this offer will only last for another 36 hours.

As for whether it's any good or not, that's a bit of a difficult question to answer. According to various reviews the game itself appears to be pretty darn fun, although the PC port is a complete mess. There is a chance you'll be able to play without much issues, and there is a chance you won't be able to get past the main menu - it's one of those games. Whether this is worth risking your time over, that I'm afraid only you can answer.

A Way Out is a bit of an anomaly in today's gaming market. Not only is it an exclusively co-op action-adventure, but it's also priced at a relatively reasonable $30. And if that wasn't enough, you only need one copy between you and your friend for both online and split-screen co-op!

If your interest is now piqued, allow me to share with you the recently posted gameplay trailer. It's not very long or very detailed, but it'll give you a pretty darn good idea of what A Way Out is all about and whether it's the type of game you'd even enjoy. Have a look, it's well worth a minute:

Civilization VI's first major expansion "Rise and Fall" is now available on both macOS and Linux

Without even a single announcement of its imminent arrival, Civilization VI's first major expansion "Rise and Fall" has now made its way to both macOS and Linux. In terms of content you can expect to see nine new leaders and eight new civilizations, a new city loyalty system, the ability to station governors into cities, emergencies and great ages, as well as a variety of other relatively minor features.

As with most ports these days, the Mac and Linux versions of Rise and Fall have not been created by the developers themselves, but rather by a third party studio - Aspyr. If the name doesn't ring any bells, you might be glad to hear that they have worked on the Mac and Linux versions of both Civilization V and VI, meaning they already have plenty of experience so the port should by all accounts be a solid one.

The remasters of Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3 have now been canceled as abruptly as they were announced

With Shadow of the Tomb Raider set to arrive on September 14th, now would be the perfect time to delve into nostalgia and re-experience the series' roots. As such, I can't say it was very surprising to hear that Realtech VR is working on modern remasters of the first three Tomb Raider games.

What I did find extremely surprising, however, was that the project ended up being canceled as abruptly as it was announced! As it turns out, Realtech VR did not consult Square Enix or Crystal Dynamics before announcing the three remasters, thus forcing their hand and essentially killing off the whole project. A questionable move, to say the least.

Hearthstone's Ben Brode has given detailed answers on a variety of popular community questions

Official photo of Hearthstone's Game Director Ben Brode

Hearthstone's Game Director and occasional rap god Ben Brode recently went on YouTube in order to answer some of the most popular community questions. How did the team come up with the Coin as a way to compensate for going second? Are there any plans to change the current classic set? And perhaps most interestingly, how does Blizzard decide when cards need to be nerfed or buffed?

If you're an avid Hearthstone player the majority of these answers will probably sound familiar, but I'd say the video is still well worth checking out as Ben Brode is remarkably entertaining to watch. Don't believe me? Have a look:
